This was great! Dice Rolling mixed with PunchOut and VNs. Unlike anything else I've played this competition. Only one thing that could have made it better was an indicator on how many rerolls I could do (or some kind of downside to it). Otherwise, excellent work!

I didn't think this had much to do with the "roll a dice prompt". That said, I think this could be the makings of something really good: a puzzle platformer where magic is used to fight and progress. Only suggestions would be shrinking the screen view in, reducing jump floatiness and having some better feedback on enemy attacks. Otherwise, great job on completing the task!
This looks very professionally done, especially the pre-rendered gba 3D effect on the world. That said, this comes across as a game that was made before the contest and rebranded? The introduction with artwork that doesn't match the proceeding game gives me that feeling. The "dice rolling" concept doesn't factor into the gameplay much either. I'd like to see this developed further, either with or without the dice.
