hmm interesting idea

Thanks for the input! I’m not sure why the title is tripping people up, I’m an animal guy so I would have thought people would know that a horny toad is a kind of lizard. What challenges would you suggest I add?

Really impressive game for two days! I played for a long time, I think I maxed it out on day 19 cause all the guys and enemies stopped moving and the sound started to glitch. Really good tower defense.

I like the black and white aesthetic! Might have a few more ammo laying around. I like the music

Story and cutscenes are hilarious

Really fun, good resource management. One suggestion would be to make it a little more clear which button you have selected and to label the next day button.

I like how its like Amaze! but with limited moves. Good puzzle aspect. I couldn't see the moves left in full screen either.

There is a prerequisite that is announced when the jam starts. its like an extra theme to make inside the desert theme. and the rules say no starting before the jam starts

thanks for the feedback! I’m actually updating the game as soon as the jam ends, and one of the things I’m implementing is the better death animation and sound!

made it to wave 25, cool idea

How did i play this for so long... i like how there are hidden mechanics that you figure out after a long time

really fun spin on the tetris concept! on thing i would suggest is to make the controller controls more similar to standard tetris controls, like using a/b to rotate the tetriminos and  using the dpad up as a snap to bottom. 

Actually you can press the O key to reset the levels!
