fantastic entry! I loved watching all my little autonomous minions run around performing their duties :)
I could see how this game could really naturally be extended in the future!
One small piece of feedback - I wish only the enemies health bars were red, and not my units. It made it a bit visually confusing which units were mine or not when they all have red health.
Overall, really really fun and polished
PS, also I wish the enemies had scaled up a little more aggressively. After level 3 my base didnt take any hits at all because i had outscaled the enemies so hard
Hey! Thank you so much for playing, glad you liked it! Yeah the balancing is an issue, in the initial release the spawning was WAY too fast and now it's WAY too easy, definetly the first thing I'll fix post jam! Really glad you liked it! I was wondering, for the full release do you think the barracks are good as they are, or should I add another layer to them? Instead of them spawning every X seconds, maybe the player has to buy them? IDK, thinking out loud!
This looks really good! Its a great concept and really fun to play. Tho maybe I will grow muscle on my finger after those clicks but it was a fun ride. Just great work!
LOL yeah I do agree the clicking is a bit much, and for the post jam version when I don't have to follow the theme so closely I'll definetly decrease it ahahah thank you so much for playing!!
A really neat concept and a very polished submission. I would have played more if not for the fact that I had to click a bit too much to get resources. Maybe requiring less clicks to gather would make the overall experience better, but I understand you wanted to make resources scarce.
I really liked the bobbing animation of the skeleton! haha
Great job!
Thank you so much! I agree that the clicking is a bit much, but since the resources are already not super scarce I thought it would help with the theme
Thank you for playing!
Looks and feels great. Might need some balancing. It would be nice to get some indication of which direction the enemies will be coming from.
I would balance this out by putting a unit cap in, which can only be raised by building farms. Puts the breaks on and makes you have to find the right balance. Might help with the lag at later stages, as well. Maybe emphasize upgrading units instead of making more of them, also.
Really good submission.
Oooh these are some great ideas! Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!
HOW DID YOU ALL MANAGE TO DO SO MUCH AND BEAUTIFULLY?! Damn, I have no chance compared to such projects :(
Can you rate mine?
Amazing work getting all that done 馃槂
I love tower defense games but that was a whole other level. Breaking down rocks and cutting trees to get more towers was really good idea.
Thank you so much, this means a ton!
Really impressive game for two days! I played for a long time, I think I maxed it out on day 19 cause all the guys and enemies stopped moving and the sound started to glitch. Really good tower defense.
Nice! Very ambitious kind of game for the time frame! I'm usually bored by these types of games due to the downtime of waiting for resources to come in, it's really interesting having resource collection be manual because there's no downtime if you want to play most efficiently. I wonder if resources aren't scarce enough though considering they regenerate each day.
Hey! Thank you so much for playing! Yeah I think I could've started the resources off a bit scarcer because the "worship" concept is to remedy the resource issue, the higher your level the more resources you get every day but I see where you are coming from
Glad you liked it!
