Yeah, unfortunately I have no other solutions to offer in regards to Google Play or the Apk files since Android is not something I am knowledgeable about.  I regret not having any other suggestions; but I will continue to search [reddit postings are surprisingly helpful].  Thank you again for the help, silverwilde.  We'll get this problem resolved together some day.

Howlies Mikewolfsansfreddy,  chances are you may need to go into your phone's settings in order to allow it to run renpy apps.  I'm sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately I have no other solutions to help.  Please let us know if this helps resolve any issues you're having.

That's very possible, and we're sorry about the issue.  Maybe with some time there will be an update to resolve this problem.  It'll be up to renpy or Android to fix.

It's unfortunate, but this maybe a situation that cannot be resolved.  The version of Renpy that I use to code is likely not caught up with the life cycle of apps and computer systems.  There are some things you can still try:

1)  Possible  issue with Google's Android operating system.

I was unable to recreate the error while playtesting the game [which is good news since the scene continues to work properly].   According to the report you've posted the problem is a background image that cannot be found by renpy named apartment.  It's possible that a re-download of the updated files will resolve the issue.  Please let us know if there are any more problems.  Thank you, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Ah, that's no good.  Afraid I don't have any more suggestions to resolve the issue other than checking renpy on reddit for solutions.  My apologies for the inconvenience.

You maybe suffering from the same issue with the game's overall file size being too big for the phone.  Later versions are smaller now, so this should resolve the problem.  

This may boil down to the game size being over 2GB.  We have since reduced the size in later apk builds.  Hopefully this will resolve any further install issues; we apologize for any inconvenience.

This situation seems quite odd to us as well.  By all accounts, the app should still function as normal.  It may have something to do with our recent update of renpy's keys.  As a possible solution, have you already attempted to remove the older version and re-download the current package once more?

The reason for most of these problems is that the APK file size is too big.  Newer versions of the game updated over the next few months should be smaller.  My apologies for any troubles.

There's also the chance that the game size is too big to launch.  We have reduced the overall size of the game for the latest Patreon builds (versions 66 and 67).
