Is the debug mode supposed to be Patreon exclusive, or would it be okay if somebody figured out and shared a way to reenable it on the public version?

Some more info for your benefit: If you start the game with
--rendering-driver opengl3
then it should show up, but a bit different; spiky white glitch fuzz instead of a solid oval. Only showed up when what should have been a torch flame was on screen, and those didn't render otherwise. All gone when I ate all the guards.

Sewer is in the town, down the road between the potion shop and blacksmith.
Slime/Lich cave is out of the town and to the left.
Facade is out of town far to the right, still townside of the wall the docks are at.
Ruins are past the wall and following to the right, then turning left at the lake and skirting the wooded areas.
Gator is past the wall and slightly left over the bridge before a sharp right turn and down the crevasse.
Reading Player.log, seems to be a fairly basic scripting error. Don't trust that playing a video will always work, always have a fallback.
