The web build has terrible performance on Microsoft edge and universally the collisions don't work on web builds so just use the windows build.

I Loved the mechanic it works as intended I just forgot to build a level around it it's also good speedrun tech

OK BIG PROBLEMO, The web build works but THE COLISIONS DON'T :< Please us the windows build

(1 edit)

It works now, However the collisions on the web build don't work NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Lol, Thanks by all means it should work now The web build that is you can play it but colisions are broken so just use the windows build

Thanks, +6 hours of work paid off.

Should be fixed I exported and uploaded different builds and settings before the deadline to make sure this doesn't happen. If you can I would advise using the windows build.

Should be fixed however, due to my hi-res art style the game is not that friendly to web builds. If performance is an issue please use the windows build.

Hello, no my game is not made in unity but Godot. This issue is fixed as I took the time to export 3 variations of my game with different export settings before the jam started. I would still advice to download the game if the performance is bad and the likelihood of bad performance is high given my game uses a hi-res art style. I optimized it best I can, however if performance is still bad expect up to a 2100percent increase of performance if you use the windows build(given you have a graphics card)

Oh ok.

Ok glad you considered it still the game is a 10/10

+1 realization BING

Love the game simply hilarious but I think it would be a lot cooler to see that you have to use your in-game hand to play the game on the phone

bro didn't hear about generous hitboxes the games too hard mate

the button glitch is simple it only triggers when you hit the left edge of the button

NO ONE CAN PLAY YOUR GAME:( YOU FORGOT TO ENABLE CROSS ORIGIN ISOLATION IM SORRY!

hard to play tho

YOOO PHYSICS PLATFORMER GANG!

is this a virus?

Story wise I like the concept the gameplay was a little confusing a small tutorial would be nice at least a big block of text is better than nothing. I liked the change from strategy to bullet hell I think I'll steal the concept for a game in the future.

read the instructions when the game boots up.

this game is addicting i have played it 3 times already

music is very anyoing controls are good

man I would love to be a boss so Idk maybe work on this game furthe

i would love it if it was a idle/clicker game but for now 6.5/10 shockingly fun and i played it for a stupid 10 minutes and got 3 points

controlls?

thx

when you extract the windows download it has the web download name that's an accident not an error it is still the windows verion

whenever it asks you if you trust it go more info and hit allow or accept

sounds like a big problem I'll find a workaround.

my game is submitted called stretchy square adventures and has 3 levels.it is now just a simple collect the squares game.

thanks well my game is almost done and well it changed. A LOT

Square Jam #1 community · Created a new topic My game idea

im gonna make a puzzel platformer in godot 4 my idea mechanics are:

  • A spike that destroys squares: This could be a hazard that the player has to avoid or use strategically. For example, the player could use a square to block a spike and create a safe path, or use a spike to destroy a square that is blocking the way.
  • A button that triggers other objects when a square is put on it: This could be a puzzle element that the player has to use to activate or deactivate other objects. For example, the player could use a square to press a button that opens a door, or use a button to change the gravity of the level.
  • A door: This could be an obstacle that the player has to open or close using squares or buttons. For example, the player could use a square to hold a door open, or use a button to unlock a door.
  • A non-place zone: This could be an area where the player cannot spawn squares or where squares disappear. This could create a challenge for the player to find alternative ways to solve puzzles or reach places. For example, the player could use momentum or timing to cross a non-place zone, or use other objects to help them.
  • Different types of squares: This could be a way to add variety and complexity to the game. For example, the player could have different types of squares with different properties, such as color, size, weight, or function. The player could use these squares in different ways to interact with the environment or other objects. For example, the player could use a red square to activate a red switch, or use a big square to block a big gap.

obviously im gonna have to remove some to hit the jam deadline and I'll make 3 to 10 levels

no sound effects but nice graphics

oh it works thank you i dont know how i did not know that

Yes very nice please try my game tho.
