Congrats on submitting your game!
I had trouble understanding some of the mechanics, maybe an explicative text would have helped? Or something on the game's page maybe? Anyway I had fun :)

Very glad you liked it, we'll definitely need to fine tune the balancing after the jam ^^
In the meanwhile congrats for reaching the 4th night and good luck if you try to get to the end!

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! I love our Sound Designer's work so I'm extra glad to read this :)

Love to hear it, thanks for playing our game :)

Thank you for the nice words :)
We'll definitely look into this issue, thanks for raising it!

Tsym! Our Tech Artist will love to hear this

Yeah plus playtesting isn't really jam compatible haha
still very neat :p

Very fun to play!
I Iost all my progress by pressing the Escape Key at some point :(
I also experienced a glitch causing the monster scream to loop forever (which is why I pressed the Escape Key lol)

Roses are red
Violets are blue
My ears are numb
Game you are really cool so I still love you

Just so you know, I saw the health bar but thought I died due to something else because it happened really fast (maybe a few frames of invincibility on being hit would help with that?)

Congrats on submitting! I like "clean-up games" like this one.

Here's some feedback in case you're interested:

- Jump is not indicated in the controls section of the game page so it took me a few attempts to figure out the way to proceed.

- It's a bit hard to understand how the ghost's detection works, maybe a field of view type of thing would help?

Cool game, congrats! It was a bit hard for me to onboard and understand the game concept though

Smashing stuff with a baseball bat is always a yes for me.

Was not exactly spooked but it was definitely fun to play! I didn't exactly understand what made my game stop, was there a kind of timer? (if so maybe make it more noticeable)

Congrats on your submission :)

Thanks for the review, so honored that an esteemed pirate such as yourself played our game!

I enjoyed getting all the endings, good writing!

kebab game of the year for sure

Glad you liked it, thanks for playing the game! (sorry for the lack of spooky librarian)

Hey just wanted to say that your game has probably the *best game design I've seen in this jam. What I mean by that is that the mechanics work really well and were very finely tuned. I also especially loved the sound design.

Even though I wasn't really scared and the ambiance was not the best ever I did put five star in enjoyment lol (that's how much I like the concept)
*spoilers ahead*
I finished the game twice (how come I didn't get a special ending by escaping with the secret book!!!??)
Loved it thx

Loved the story!

I was totally spooked. BUT. I didn't see the skibidi man, where is my skibidi???

Loved the twist!

I loved your game and I gotta say the writing touched me, great stuff!

In Kayle & Fiends you play as Kayle, a small spirit wielding the almighty power of Kale leafs to fight evil ghosts jealous of their abilities. They're able to fire a powerful laser destroying everything in its wake as well as channel the strength of his defeated foes to bind time itself to his will!

Usually we put both types of controls in, but this is one of the first game we made and we didn't have the habit at the time...

Thank you for the feedback ! I'm adding that right now.  :)
