Thanks for your input! We got what we could in there, but ultimately ran out of time. I agree that better in-game feedback like you've described would improve the experience. The track editor was integral to the game, as that's how all the tracks are made, so a lot of good work went into getting that working right before getting the racing mechanics in. When testing your track in the editor, the finish line doesn't reset your position as you have to push the "exit test" button or push esc, but when you save the track, and play it through the main menu, it should work like the others. Either way, we appreciate your feedback, and will be updating this game in the future to be more what we had envisioned. Thanks again!

Thank you for your feedback! Most of those are things the team knew needed work, but your input is helpful and it's good to have our suspicions confirmed. We intended to have the finish screen much like the original Excitebike, and like what you've described, but we ran out of time to implement a number of things, like the sounds we had made... We will be updating it in the future, so stay tuned. Thanks again!
