Thanks for the review! And thanks for playing it twice! We really had fun trying to tie together all the different scenarios. That was a good point you picked up, one area we forgot to cross-reference across scenarios. Will flag that for fixing in a later build.

Really nice work for solo jam! I'm really curious to know more about the grumpy donkey with the spirals, but I'm guessing you ran out of time to finish that storyline

SO GOOD! Love the writing, the art, animations, and nice little puzzles. The music choice adds to the humour too. the platforming movement and height of jumps can be tweaked a bit to be smoother, but that's really the only complaint - amazing work in 48 hours!

clever clues and mechanics! short but nice, and fits the theme
would have been better with sound, it didn't work on my end

I won!
nice concept, would have helped to have a little bit more explaining at the beginning but fun little game with the dive mechanic

Awesome level design and gameplay loop!
Cool aesthetic with the Egyptian theme and fitting music. A shame that the sound didn't make it to the actual game but I enjoyed having the backing track
Would have liked to see the feature to edit individual blocks rather than having to re-place everything again, but understand that's due to the time constraints
overall 10/10 enjoyment

Cool monster designs and what a great nostalgia trip!
Great music and art - really loved when the metal trainer came to battle
One this is I wish the text could change a bit faster

Neat game mechanics - I really liked the logic puzzle!

I found that if I sold too many armour to the other team too early on (I was not taking notesat first!) then it takes a long time to get their health back down after you've figured out exactly which side everyone is on, then it gets grindy - of course there's reputation management but that gets pretty simple.

I wonder if it would be fun to introduce the option to sell "dud" items - like a laxative instead of potion, an exploding armour, or a bendy sword - and it would reduce instead of buff the stats they're supposed to, but at the cost of drastically reducing your rep (and you can only sell one of each because people will catch on!). Might be fun dialogue and also helps to finish the game quicker if you have worked out the puzzle already

The animal sounds and dialogue were really on point and added to the humour of the game!
the game was a bit difficult to control but still a lot of fun!

Creative game, really polished and feels great to play! I had fun trying to trick the shooter

Love the very fitting soundtrack as well :)

Damn! That would have been really cool! Definitely do it up after judging finishes!

Nice platformer! I really like the character sprites - did you make them yourself?
I think the font for the dialogue boxes can be more legible as it was a bit hard to read/follow the story. I love fantasy settings so this was fun to play.

Nice idea, it would have been good if the initial explanation screen stayed longer (or more of a press button/key to start kind of screen), just to give the player more time to digest the instructions.

Great game, interesting glitches and level design. Really fun to play and the difficulty level was well adjusted - I could get to the end but not without dying a couple of times due to unexpected glitches.
I'm curious to see what the unimplemented art was, although I like the Unity level vibe as well, feel it suited the game.

It works perfectly now! I think it just didn't load properly before, maybe my browser settings.
Fun and well designed game, well done! Definitely integrates the theme fully into the core game mechanic.

Not sure if it works on PC browser. Tried the usual controls on my computer but that didn't seem to change anything

Played in browser, it worked fine! The trapdoor one always gets me even though I've figured out what to do now. This game feels great, and the soundtrack is a good complement to the expansive backdrop.

I see! I went back and tried, and got a bit further along! Thanks :)

Cool assets. The danger sound scared the heck out of me though!

It's a funny game and tests your reactions. Great take on the theme.
The game takes a bit of time to load after you press "Next" though, which is a bit disorientating because you're waiting around but when it does eventually start, the timer runs out so rapidly.

Stunning UI and beautiful music. The game seems promising but no matter what I type at the Superhero question, I seem to always get a PASS and end the game.

Would like to see more of this game!

Well balanced game and great idea. Honestly don't mind that the graphics and sound are minimal because the game is well made and the controls are smooth.

It was way too hard for me but seems to be a well polished game - well done! Love the loading screen and the bit of humour in the script writing.
I had to try out the UI buttons - the bug gave the soundtrack a creepy and intense vibe which I didn't hate :p

It's a cool puzzle game! Well designed and interesting idea.

Love the aesthetic and game idea! The music fits perfectly.

The colour scheme and art is really wonderful.

The only complaint is that it is a steep learning curve, but fun to play if you can work it out.

I loved the guy with the noodle arms and his sound effect ;) The potion effects are cool.
It was fun to walk around the forest and collect items. I wish the inventory was bigger so I wouldn't have to backtrack to the cauldron every time.

Thanks for playing our game!

Actually if you long hold on the grip buttons in your right hand, the lantern will come flying to you. Sorry this was not clear in the game.
