I am still looking for a writer for a DND inspired romance VN. We are a small team that plans on finishing the game by the end of the year. You would write about 15-20k words for a romance route but the word count is pretty flexible.

Yes, it does. For this jam, you can write in whatever genre you want but if text adventure is what you want to do that’s perfectly fine

You can have pictures, background and audio. You can customize however you want as long as your game is in the format of an IF game.

With the context of your piece, violence and gore is allowed.

For this jam, you have to make a narrative game in the format of an interactive fiction game, not a visual novel or point and click. Your game has to be text based and it can be whatever story you want to tell as long as the story is told through text.

You can use Ren'py! As long as your game is in the same structure and format as interactive fiction then it is fine!

Hi Everyone!

I created a new game jam for writers and IF creators! This is a chill game jam for interactive fiction creators to create engaging stories and experiment with their storytelling. This jam is for any new and experienced creators to gain experience and meet other talented writers. The jam starts on August 26th and ends on September 16th. 

Don't be discouraged if you haven't made an IF game before, this would be the perfect jam to try your hand at this! Also, if you have experience in other game design disciplines you are encouraged to join the discord to meet and collaborate with people!
