I noticed that the main page said there would be a theme or something that would be released at the start of the jam, but it has been crossed out. So are we free to use any theme we want or did I not see it?

I really appreciate your support! I'm so happy you like it.

Thank you so much! I'm glad the perfectionist in me spent the time to fine tune the feel of of the game instead of overloading it with levels

Thank you so much for the feedback. I think you are right about the movement. I know exactly how to do it cause I already have a small delay in the movement to make sure the collision checks work. It will probably be changed in the next update which will hopefully be by Friday or Saturday. I plan on building on this game waaaay further

I'm glad you managed to finish all the levels. The key to the game is to remember that when you switch, the other one needs to be in a position to help and still be accessible.

Maybe I should make it a bit easier, huh? I'm super glad you enjoyed it so much! Gives me a nice warm and fuzzy feeling inside xD

Thanks for the feedback. When you are making puzzles you already know the solution so its quite hard to judge the actual difficulty of the levels. Will try and fix it soon, but there is a reason I laid out the level select screen the way I did, so that if you get stuck on a level you can move on and come back to it whenever. All levels are accessible at all times

Yeah i have never messed around with WebGL so it might be that. I dont see why a few raycasts would affect performance. Anyway it looked like a cool game. maybe ill come visit it again when i upgrade to a more powerful computer

I have made multiple physics based 2d games and they all work fine. My current project has hundreds of collisions over a few seconds constantly and it holds up just fine so I’m not sure why your game would run so badly on my laptop. Idk it’s just one of those things I guess

I do have a potato laptop but it should still work since its strong enough to actually make games. I played on Chrome in windows

Wow I absolutely love this game, although its really hard. My record is 6 days

This is really cool! Please make more levels!!

Cool concept. Really have to keep track of everything going on to maximise points. I love the way it shows what speed you are doing and when you are braking. Awesome game!

This was really cool. But the adventurer gets stuck a lot. I like the concept and the art.

Oh my GOD I love this. It's so cute and fun. Please add more levels, I would love to see this as a full game with a complete story!

Very interesting concept. Never seen anything like this before. Well done, also I love the art!

This game is really fun but also really difficult. Not being able to control the character in the air really makes this hard. Nice!!

I like this idea. Pleeeeease build on it!!

For some reason it lags a bunch and the sounds just repeat and overlap. Can't really play it

It's pretty cool but there isn't much replayability. It would be awesome if you got like a salary or something every few seconds and the ability to drag inmates one by one so that you can place more blocks and keep them away from doors while still having the problem of too many inmates to manage.

Cool game!

Wow this game is tough. I found the attack to very hit and miss, but otherwise I really like the concept of the game and challenge it poses.

Ok changing browser worked. Fun game and cool concept

I really enjoy this game. Super casual and calming and just overall relaxed. The music fits in perfectly and it's simple to understand.

It's a shame that it is so short but if there were more levels added in the future I would 100% play them.

It's a great game! The movement does fell a bit unresposive and if I am moving into a wall the jump height is almost nothing. Otherwise it's fun!

Maybe a UI telling the player how to restart would be a bit helpful cause I had to relaunch the game every time I had to restart until I saw the controls on the game page. But it's still fun!!

Good Job.

Sadly I can't open the game. What language was this made in and how can I open it cause for some reason it won't open :(

I really like the concept of this game. I love tower defense games and the fact that your towers can damage you is really awesome. It's a shame though because the game is almost unplayable.

The character disappears in the first like 10 seconds and then all controls are disabled and I cant do anything. Also might I suggest adding just a simple UI where you can click the tower you want to place? I can see that with more towers you can forget which one costs how much and how to place it down.

Otherwise cool concept, and I like the art too!

It's a really cool idea but for some it starts on wave 15? And when enemies have 0 health they still move for a while and collide with bullets and don't give money back when killed. Its fun but I would like to see that the beginning is an easy wave with 3 or 4 enemies so you can build more defenses later on. otherwise cool game

I finally got my game finished. Spent way too much time fixing a bug that should have only taken a few minutes. So I only got 4 tutorial levels and 4 main levels in the game, but I will add more tomorrow cause I need to sleep.

Definitely do not try to make a big game with cool graphics and awesome sounds. Work on making a short, simple game with an interesting and easy to make mechanic and focus on making the game fun and playable, even if it is short. Very often people overplan (myself included) and end up not being able to finish as they have set too many goals that cant be accomplished within the time given.

Hope this helps you!

whatever you want. It's up to interpretation

nice to see new people in game jams. this is my first one in a long time cause i never really knew how to make games back then. but after visiting and learning from my old half-hearted games i am ready to try againg. LETS GOOOOOO!!!!
