sorry. Lulu is not color inside. (Lulu is the black coil book  on the right). The full interior color is my first test copies. I can send you one.

The coil bound is on Lulu. I’ll probably have full color for an updated version.

Thanks!

Thanks!  Apologies, that version isn't as nice because of their printing, but I appreciate the support!

Not yet, but if there's  demand for that, I'll make one.

thanks!

Thank you, Dach99!

From what I recall, it switches when you really play the first game (score at least 7, I think). Thanks for playing!

Thanks, Xerra!

thank you for all the help!

thanks!

Nope.  I wish. ha

Thank you for your support!

Updates shall be posted.  Only minor adjustments have been made so far.

Lulu is spiral bound.  I added images in the description.

22900 points, level 7 (v1.2)  Great fun!

Thank you!  I am setting print copies up now.  The print run will be limited based on interest.  At the moment, I am correcting typos.  Update coming soon.

Looking for changes in the second act was suspenseful.  I worry some may overlook the details and changes seemingly meaningful to the intent of the game.  Compelling.

Impactful.  In the tradition of the flash/Ouya game Oiche Mhaith (2011) by Terry Cavanagh.  Well done.

I have added a direct link to a browser-playable version of the game.

I have added a direct link to a browser-playable (approximate) version of the game if you are uninterested in computer history and emulators. https://nippur72.github.io/vic20-emu/?load=http://www.sleepingelephant.com/danie...

Thank you for asking.  There are several emulators; I believe VICE has a website (not sure if I am allowed to link).  Find xvice.exe in the VIC 20 folder?  Open xvice.exe then drag the prg file into xvice window.  Everything should autostart. Please let me know if I can help.

Thank you for playing and offering such detailed feedback!  I design very small games that reference an era of more intuitive game play.  I was not able to recreate the possible glitch you mentioned.  The death sequence occurs when the player attempts to move into an occupied tile.    The monster occupant should then appear while the player avatar remains in the original position.  From your description, no monster appears at all to indicate what killed the player. Or if it did appear, this could also have been an unintentional input (for example, hitting up twice without realizing it).  Still investigating, but I at the moment I am not sure it is possible for the game to end without demonstrating the culprit. I know you may no longer recall the experience, but I appreciate the observation and am attempting to recreate it.

Thank you for playing and giving suggestions. The key layout is WASD or ARROW keys.  Both work, but what keys would you have preferred?

Hi!  Just open the prg file in VICE.  The recommended settings are "unexpanded'" and "NTSC".  Use the WASD keys or arrow keys.  Let me know if you have any problems.  Thanks for checking it out!

Thank you!

I make BASIC games on a VIC 20.  There are browser emulators online and emulators that run on windows, but none belong to me and can be linked without complications.  May I still enter a game?
