watching this was SO fun thank you so muuuuch! ♡
when programming I decided to choose between a guide and achievement checklist but I guess there was no reason not to put in both, I'll keep that in mind - thanks again! :D
the animation of the move screen cracks me up every time. man i need to do animations again
scrolling through long descriptions of some evidence (notebook) is nigh impossible with my broken mouse wheel. hope where wasn't anything important?
yup sure does give me flashbacks to playing drv3 with my siblings
the cat is dancing again i can't
i just noticed the rat has a rat tail this is so cute
I'm like 90% sure that you should've used 'Teacher' instead of 'Master' because of english connotations with the word, because some people might read it as 'person who owns you' instead of 'master of their craft'. unless i'm missing something and it's intentional, in which case good foreshadowing carry on
great work on the visuals!
in the current build i wasn't able to pick up items (i click them when the wand sparkles(the sparkles look Great) and nothing happens) so being able to skip these by pressing Q really helped. i love point-and-click, would've loved if it worked
i noticed there was no background in the room with two beds too; and the game page mentions music but there was no sound when I played
during the discussion of 'make a tonic' letter player character calls out wrong sister's name at some point I believe
lastly, upon reaching the end, nothing happens and I had to quit manually
the story is a fantastic horror fairytale and the visuals are gorgeous and almost vintage-looking, patched up this would be a marvel! I really liked it!
yeah the stories really are super short admittedly, but any attempt to make them longer felt like dragging them out, which I thought would be worse, so lesser evil it was
'romanticized', huh?.. I can't stop anyone from seeing it as such, but the word feels ill-fitting to me. oh well. thanks for commenting! it'd be useful to know in the future
I'm SO happy everyone's finally reacting to a changing title screen in my game for once :D
Thank you very much!
ending names are latin words for their respective animal families (ex. ranidae is frogs)
a possibly more interesting fact is that I picked names for characters from names of scientists that study those particular animals (with the exception of grandma gadget, she's a cartoon reference)
Cute and comfy stuff is my favorite, so I try to make more for this world~ Thanks again!
