Glad you liked it! I'm not a huge puzzle person either so I firstly did something that was playable for myself xd
And yeah, I actually rushed the music a little, I was starting to run low on time. Thank you tho, appreciated it! <3
I had lots of fun with this. I actually played this much more than what I expected, I loved every second of it! Lovely artstyle, the gameplay is simple and fun and I liked to try to find winning strategies. Unless I missed it, the only thing I would add is the ability to change a tile (didn't notice it in the controls but I could be mistaken). Other than that, I absolutely loved my time with this one, amazing job!
This was a lovely change of pace, it was honestly a really erlaxing atmosphere. I actually ended up playing it for a while. At first I had some difficulties 'cause I didn't understand fully the controls but once I understood them I just relaxed and played through it, lovely done. I liked it a lot! <3
I actually replayed it, I see now the collissions are improved too, it's a lot more fair like this! Aslo that arrow for the temperature is a nice touch, I like it. Only thing I would say is the background textures that in some places seem to be misplaced but that's not a big deal. The game plays all good tho!
That was honestly a very enjoyable game, good work! The sprites were nicely done and the game mechanics are fun too (I don't know if that was intended but I never used the water element).
The movement of the player feels really smooth and natural and running away as the fire spreads was one of my favorite parts :3
Oh only thing, I've gotten an error when an enemy touched me sometimes:
"Unable to find any instance for object index '8' name 'oPlayer'
at gml_Script_EnemyState_Chasing"
Well I liked it, It's a nice game! Only thing I'd say are that I would have added written somewhere the controls. I would have made it so that environments cannot collide with each other rather than restarting the level, other than that I suggest to give some better visual clues. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to tell what's part of the background and of the actual level (at least to me). Other than that, great game, it's a cool concept! <3
Thank you! I admit I actually noticed too the similarities with the Sky Keep from Skyward Sword after I thought of the idea. I decided to make a little callback by making one of the layouts of the levels match the one of the dungeon.
Thank you for the advice too, I actually feared it was too bright but I wasn't finding a color combination I was liking xd
Well, thanks for playing!
