i cant play :c im on 32 bits
Hey, cool game :) The presentation is nice and the general idea is cool.
As advice I would say really decide what you want your game to be about - is it about solving puzzles you design, where there is a unique and interesting idea the player has to figure out in order to pass each stage? Or is it more about strategy, freedom and improvisation, where there are multiple ways of tackling each level? At the moment your abilities seem designed to give different ways to accomplish the same thing, so you could lean into this.
I went through the whole game never using the water ability, and only using the fire one about twice, so this is something you could work on to make sure there are good reasons to use every ability.
I also experienced a crash when colliding with an enemy, after the chase sequence.
Thanks for the game :)
It's about freedom and creativity. I posted 4 gifs where's the first level completed each with a different way
At first wasn't intended, but it was really cool to see this kind of interactions. Also the second level. You can use the Fire element or The Water and then the Rock to break the Ice
I'm aware that you can finish the game without using the water element because the last level I planned to be completed with all 4 abilities, but it looks that it isn't the case lol And I don't think was a bad thing.
I Haved another plan for the water ability, to grow a plant and use it like a platform. The sprite is in the game and it's coded... but I didn't add the level
And yeah... that crash :c I know it's happening and I know why, just didn't noticed before uploading the game
Thank you so much for the feedback ♥ Really helps me to see what can I improve
Fix to the crash uploaded, thank you for the feedback
Great game.
Would suggest swapping out the mouse wheel for a key as laptops don't have wheels and scrolling with two fingers is kind of dodgy.
One thing I was going to do is that you could select them with the numbers or something like that
But I just didn't had that much time
I really enjoyed this one, especially the puzzles! I liked the art style a lot too.
One thing that happened though was that the game crashed when an enemy hit me in one of the levels. It was the level where you use wind to reach a button and then the enemy is to the left of a large body of water.
Yeah :c I know the bug, i was investigating that before... It was due a change I did on the last time and didn't noticed
It's fixed but not uploaded, I think it's not allowed for the Jam
Fix uploaded, thank you for the feedback
Yay, I look forward to playing!
Really great game concept, but I think more sound effects are needed, and the ones for the character don't really match too well. The art is amazing, and my favourite art style I have seen yet. Animations are just as good. Background music could be better though. I also think it doesn't really go with the limit 'control your environment' too well, but it's acceptable. I would love more freedom with the powers as well, as at the moment it feels limited to what the level wants you to do. Amazing game, one of the best yet.
Thank you so much for the feedbak ♥
Just now I was writing what needs to be improved and what you have written really helps me a lot
I noticed the sound effects in the player when I was working on it but it was something I learned in this project and due to time I couldn't correct it much
I'm really surprised that people liked the art style and animations. I'm not an artist, I really tried hard in the whole artistic section
And what you mention about the movement is something that I was in debate at the beginning of the development, doing the first level. I didn't want people to just jump into the waterhole and not use the item mechanic but I also didn't want to make the player slow and clumsy... So I tinkered until it was like it is now. It's not perfect, far from it, and you're really right.
Your game is the second one I give a full 5* rating. I like everything (except the too repetitive BG music, but let's just ignore that one). The character animations and controls are outstanding good - the rest is just awesome. Great job dude!
Full 5*? Wow... I don't know what to say... I'm glad that you enjoyed my game ♥
The Bgm was added like 3 hours before the deadline and it's the only thing i didn't create myself
I'll still working on the game and make a full post-jam release. It won't be a big game, but at least more polished and completed
it's so fun to keep playing with the powers !! The concept is really original, I think it will be better if the art was more développé ;D Good Job
I'm not that good artist, I just did my best with the pixelart.
Thank you so much for the feedback ♥
still good
Wow Game is So Fun And The Concept is unique Great Job!
Thank you really much!
That was honestly a very enjoyable game, good work! The sprites were nicely done and the game mechanics are fun too (I don't know if that was intended but I never used the water element).
The movement of the player feels really smooth and natural and running away as the fire spreads was one of my favorite parts :3
Oh only thing, I've gotten an error when an enemy touched me sometimes:
"Unable to find any instance for object index '8' name 'oPlayer'
at gml_Script_EnemyState_Chasing"
It's Intended!
Plan the game to be completed in many different ways
And I love that you tell me that because according to me the last level was intended to be completed (normally) using the four elements. If you tell me that you did not use the element of water, it means that you have been creative and were able to save it, congratulations!
Uuuuh Really? I didn't have much time to playtest and the respawn was the last thing I added so maybe there's the error... Thank you so much, i'll fix it as soon the jam votes ends
Oh I thought that was intended, I rushed my way through the fire, trying to avoid all the skeletons on the way xd
You're welcome too! I'm sure you can make a lovely game out of this, the base is already good!
Fix uploaded, thanks for making me aware of this bug
You're welcome!
Loved the character movement, so soft a fresh
Thank you so much! Really means a lot for me
Sorry, I got an error when started on my PC(windows7 64bit)
I haven't see that comming to be honest
Wow... It might be the fact that you're using Windows 7 but I can't tell exactly why... I'm so sorry
But don't worry, i'll make it playable in the browser soon
Good use of the elemental setup. The only complaint I have is not using two elements at the beginning (makes you learn to swap elements out of the gate), but the instructions were clear. Can't wait to see more.
In the first level? Uh that's something I didn't though about but you're right! Thank you so much for the feedback, i'll totally update the game soon
I enjoyed this! It was a cute take on the limitation and although the it was a bit confusing to start without a tutorial, once I figured out the controls the game itself was pretty intuitive. I would play more of this if more were made :)
Thank you so much! More levels and mechanics are planned after this Jam, I want to complete this game, just a little bit
A tutorial was planned but can't reach the deadline :c
Good game, it has some really nice animations! If I were to suggest something, it would be a menu to select different elements, using the mousewheel is kinda janky sometimes. Still a great game! I liked the idea of using different elements to solve puzzles in a platformer.
It's a good idea to make a circle selection of the elements. Thank you really much for the feedback ♥
Nice game! Each level was interesting. I would like to see how you would update or remake this in the future! It is one of the best concepts in the games I played today!
Thank you so much ♥ I'm going to still working on this game
It really means so much for me
Good luck with your next update!!

The animations were really nice. I think a menu or something to explain the controls would've helped but I eventually found out that the scroll wheel went through the elements.
It's on the Itch.io page but no in the Jam page :c I didn't know about that
Thank you, I made everything myself: sounds, spirtes, code (except for the bacground music) it was really hard, to be honest
I really did enjoy playing this game as every level it offers something new, the idea itself is really great, outstanding work, keep it up !
i look forward to see a full game with more levels after the jam !!
I will continue developing this game, at least a little bit more
Thank you so much ♥
I really loved that you had not only one choise but multiple choises to solve the puzzle!
maybe colectables to insantivate the player to go out of their way to find new ways to solve the puzzle would be awesome!
Yes, some that was the idea, multiple solutions for a level. And the collectables were planned, the 2nd level have a space where I was going to put there a collectable
