Oh sorry, the kelp looked fine I thought it was a bug because I thought I saw it spawn big once. I guess that may have been the bug.

Thanks for the comments and ratings everyone, I learned a lot working on the game but I think I learned almost as much about how to improve my work from reading your feedback!

Fun idea and it's impressive you did it with no engine. Not sure if it's something with my PC but even in fullscreen mode there seemed to be almost no fish, when I did see them they were almost always too big to eat. Also ran into some kind of bug where the kelp at the bottom was really small, not sure if that's related.

Fits the theme super well though and I think if the spawning was changed a little it would be really fun. Also liked the art a lot and the audio was good.

The art is a little jarring at first but it grew on me, I think it fits the game really well. Mechanically I think this game plays the best of any I've played from this jam so far, I love the mouse movement, it's weirdly intuitive. The audio is simple but fits the cool retro vibe. Well done, the only complaint I have is I didn't completely understand the tutorial until I read the comments

Fun game, kind of addicting. Honk mechanic is kind of confusing, especially how long it takes to recharge. I love that cars honk sometimes when you cut them off though and I think I heard music from a car at one point, good audio design.

Fun game! The physics are a bit odd but I found the gameplay kind of addicting. Fits the theme really well too. Could use some animations/music but the bones of the game are great, it's fun to try to replay to survive more waves.

Sorry you weren't able to complete it but I like the concept and what you have looks pretty nice.

Fun game, the concept is cool and it was strategically interesting trying to figure out where to place people. Fits the theme really well too. Only things I might change is that the audio in the main room is kind of weird (maybe it's supposed to sound like a static-y tv?) and that it wasn't super clear how what I did affected the score. I found myself watching the score number every round trying to figure out how it was affected by people leaving. Also the UI was a bit odd on my screen like you said in the comments, that might have been part of it.
