I appreciate the interest in my game but I see Finally, A Quiet Place like a finished short game made for a game jam. I don't have the intention to add new content. I am working on new games :)

Hello, thanks for the kind words! What do you mean by GB studio files? Like the assets or the whole project?

Thank you! This looks so good on an original Game Boy! I think the unlit rooms are made to work on a Game Boy Color, but I'm glad it turns out ok!

Wow, I love the pixel art in your game. The animals are so cute and the backgrounds are beautifull! I hope to see the full game soon :)

I loved it! It's dark and cute at the same time. Congrats!

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate that you tried all the interactions with the key again ^^

Thank you so much ! After finding the key, all interactions result in new dialogues :)

Thank you!

Wow, I loved it! This game is awesome and it fits the theme perfectly! Also, the design is cute and clever. Well done :)

Pretty game with cute characters! I can see it turned into a full interesting game.

You played it twice? Wow, thanks! This makes me happy :)

You're right, I had planned to add a counter mechanic to track the number of rooms explored and dialogues the player would start. This would have influenced the ending but, I was really short in time and I had to cut it off. I ended up submitting the game 7 minutes before the end of the jam!

I thought about adding a spark effect like in resident evil (and another GB game I made last month) but I wanted to let the player wander around in quiet and discover things by himself. Since there are no NPC's and going through the front door let the player understand he can investigate the environment, I thought he would end up investigate things. I did add subtle hints in dialogues like you said, I'm glad you saw that! I have already made a polish iteration for the dialogues, but I'll update the game after the Jam.

I love the fight gameplay. It reminds me of Undertale. I found the horizontal attacks a little bit too hard to avoid because the character is tall. Some jokes are really funny and made me smile. Well done!

Hello, thank you for playing my game and for your feedback!

The game was made in 3 days. To be able to deliver it in time, I decided to aim for a simple gameplay and put my work into writing dialogues and creating a friendly environment that can be fully explored. Once you have found the key, you can interact again with everything and you'll get new dialogues and informations on the characters and the family. I hope you'll give it a try!

Awesome thanks! I can't believe I missed it. Even though I watched the full tutorial before...

Hello,

All my songs have a little fade out at the end making the use of an external tool necessary to clip the end correctly in order to get a clean loop.

Am I missing something ?

Awesome DAW by the way :)

Thanks !
