Hey! The game currently does not support gamepads/controllers, but we’re thinking of adding it in the future. It would fell out of the scope for the jam and we just wanted to deliver a nice and polished game. Thanks for commenting!

Hey, thank you for your feedback! Would care to elaborate more on your audios issues? You're the first reporting it but I've had issues with Godot's audio on web before. What browser/OS are you on? You mentioned crackling, does it seems like game processing affect it (bigger levels/user input makes the audio worse)?

Thank you! On soft blocks, we've tried to get rid of most of them, but it's still very hard because the player can die anywhere... There's a reset button for when that happens, but I wonder since you brought it up: should we somehow introduce this idea of blocking yourself and that reseting is ok and part of the gameplay? Or should we smooth our levels so that there is always a way out?

Thanks for the feedback! Audio really needs some fine tuning, it was a last minute effort on our part... And yeah, laser hitbox was troublesome because we need to update it as the laser shinks and grows, so maybe my math went wrong! Did you felt it like that in all uses of the laser or is there a level that stands out?

I think it will be available after the rating period ends!

Congrats on making it solo! It's a fun concept and you gave it a really cool aesthetic. Controls felt a bit strange: if I'm shooting with mouse clicks, I'd rather also aim with mouse, and not keyboard. But, yeah, great game!

Creative and fun, I had a blast playing it! I feel like the enemy AI could be smarter (if I stand still, it doesn't hit me at all), but it was such a cool idea!!

Liked your ideas and overall vibe of mixing action with dialogue, but I am a Mac user and I couldn't attack any of the evil spirits (as someone pointed out below). Let me know when you update it, so I can play it again!

Also, I didn't like the visual feedback for when you switch to visible form. I feel like it's there is not much difference between the lights color and the transition could be faster so that it really stands out.

Sure! Positioning the dead bodies felt more like a trial-and-error process than something that I could master. I would die over a button and then discover that my body has rolled off of it. Jumping was hard, it seems like I could only jump over my body if it was sideways, but I couldn't find a way to tilt the bodies constantly - I just smashed the buttons until I could get them where I wanted.

I liked your use of the mechanic and the ragdoll/pinball physics of it, but I wish I had better control over the character... It was pretty fun though!

Simple and great mechanics and visuals! Got into a deep vibe playing it

I played it now! I really like the aesthetic and ideas, but platforming was sooo unforgiving D:

Using mouse clicks to interact felt kinda awkward, but I really like the vibe of it!

I couldn't play it :(

Got this error:  Unable to parse Build/Builds.framework.js.br! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header "Content-Encoding: br" present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug.

Hi, we're a Brazilian game dev team and we made a puzzle-platform named Cat-A-Combs!

It was the first game jam for most of our team members and we're really proud of what we achieved. In fact, we're even thinking of continuing the development after the jam.
