I really like this! A simple idea which is really well executed! After it began with this optical illusion of having rooms that are in placed that there shouldnt be, the first floors were alright and then it felt like it is quite difficult to understand the pattern on how it works, but other than that it's definitely a really nice executed game :)

Yeah it's a bit shame. I began iterating over builds like 2 hours before deadline and it still wasn't enough, switching between windows/linux just takes too much time ... I guess Unity development from Linux is still not as far as I'd hoped ... And I can only fix these things on sunday, as I had to hop on train right after the submission and will come back tomorrow ...

Anyway it would be great if we could also get an answer from SideFX what is their sight on this, if it would be fine fixing these issues in order to make the experience pleasant as it should be. I.E. I managed to create a full story with linear progression so everything has to happen in certain moments, and one of these bugs will cause the player being completely stuck on one of the stages, where he would have to pretty much nail the entire game without mistakes in order to get to the end ...

I understand that this is part of the game jam and it is one of the things that have to be managed, so if we cant fix it that's fine, I will make the walkthrough video with the story on sunday so that everyone can see the full game even if its difficult to get there on their own.

And thanks for the reply!:)

What I will definitely do is a play through video so that even people that wont be able to finish will get the idea. I will be back on Sunday with the update!

Hello, I would like to ask, if it would be possible to fix game breaking bugs even after submission, or is it completely forbidden?

I developed my entry on Unity Linux Editor, and for some reason, the build doesn't seem to behave the same as in the editor. Unfortunately that will cause that a lot of people wont be able to finish fully the game since one of the main respawning mechanics is flawed ...

I think I would need to open up the project on windows and rebuild it there. Anyway, if it's not possible that's alright too, I was just wondering.

Thanks!

I do like the graphical scheme of this, it has nice feeling to it, simple colors but all nicely put together :) I also think that the music is nice and fitting, quite chill actually! Also the rock sound effects work quite well together, there is nothing too loud or something that feels off!

The controls as someone mentioned before are quite difficult and I felt like the moving speed could acutally be quite a bit faster. Right now there is not much of a rewarding feeling in the game, it does take a lot of time to get somewhere only to see you falling off the cliff cause of the difficult and slow handling. But all in all, it really has some nice vibe and I could imagine that with a few parameter tweaks it could be quite fun!

The camera turn to see from one point of view to another felt a bit too quick but thats just a minor thing. Nice little project ^^
