Sorry about that, got a bit burned out. Still working on it, but no ETA.

It is. I absolutely love that manga.

Glad you enjoyed it! I don't plan on updating this game for other systems, but I do  plan on having the new game work for all the systems that are popular when it comes out.

It's coming along fairly well. I have the story thought out, and did a bunch of coding in the spring. I have four levels done, but they really are mostly for introducing gameplay functionality and getting people into the world story wise.  I'm pretty happy with it so far and looking forward to people getting to play it.

Thanks for the report on the bugs you found, I'll look into them. Probably can't help with the Index controller bug, since I don't own one of those. I'm actually pleasantly surprised it works on that at all.

Interesting! I wonder if that just happens on the Rift S. I have a regular Rift and I haven't seen this.

Thanks for the offer! I think I'm good right now, but I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I should be putting up an updated version of the game soon, and it does have a simple hint system.  It'll also have a quick teaser for Under a Juniper Sky included. As for the engine, I'm using Unity. It's really very nice, and there's tons of tutorials and help online for people who want to get into making games.

By pressing the button on the controller, a pointer line should turn on. By touching that line to the 'start game' button, that button should be selected. Then by releasing the button on the controller, the game should progress to the next scene. I hope this helps.

I'm afraid I haven't tested it on the Oculus Quest. You could always give it a go and see if it works. Let me know if it does.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

I'm glad you liked it! I plan on updating it soon, then moving onto Under a Juniper Sky, the one with multiple locations and a story.

Glad you liked it. Haven't run into the problem you mentioned, but I'll keep my eyes open for it. What were you using, a Vive or an Oculus Rift?

Actually I've decided to return to doing the game fully in VR. While the non-VR version had a lot of pluses to it, it just didn't have the same feel about it. In fact for a few various reasons it looks like I'll be updating A Shopping Trip to Eklan Tor. When I do, I'll send out information on it.

Thanks, that seems to have worked.

Actually I tried using the discord link I recieved and it says 'Invite Invalid'. I assume this is because it's expired (I got it a couple of months ago). Do I need another invite?

Thanks!

Thanks! I haven't gotten many responses about the game, so I'm really glad to hear you like it.

Thanks! Hearing something like that really encourages me to keep working at it.

Did you try the solution below?

To the right you should see instructions. They're different between Vive and Rift, but basically they tell you the button to press to select things from a distance. Then point the controller at the Start Game button, then release the button. That should work, reply if it doesn't.

I've afraid there not a non-VR version of this game on the horizon. Maybe after Juniper Sky is done I might consider it, but that's a few years out.

I did have a hidden object game that's 3D but non-VR that I never finished. You can see a screenshot at http://www.feverdream.org/unity-01.html. I might go back to it sometime if there's interest.
