:thehorror:

great game!

i am going to die in 4 years

Did you extract the file?

No, the protagonist and party members are all female.

We weren't able to implement weight gain for her in particular within the two week time frame of the jam.

Bugfixes.

Lots to go through here! I appreciate the extensive feedback.

Ravager is definitely very strong right now, but that was intentional. I plan to make some balancing changes that bring the rest of the enemies closer to her level, and she was a first step towards more of a challenging game. This change will be gradual, however, so as to not upset the balance in an extreme way.

Lots of very cool enemy ideas here! While I don't want to give much away, I will say that some of your suggestions are very close to content that is already planned (for example, the Virtuoso is already going to be added as a bard-type enemy in the next couple of updates).

More party members are also coming. The next update is planned to add a new support party member, and the identity of this character has already been confirmed in game.

As always, thanks for such thorough feedback, and I hope that you have a fulfilling day as well.

I have read through this entire comment and I genuinely do not understand what you're trying to say.

Yeah, I do plan on making it still, but some unfortunate slowdowns I've had over the last month forced me to focus pretty much all of my efforts on the game itself. The guide is something that I want to share with others, but since it's more of a personal project that I personally want to do and won't be monetizing, it's a bit lower priority than the current obligations I have to FATACLYSM.

Probably not. It's not necessarily off the table, but I'm not personally a big fan of vore.

Hey, I appreciate the very length review and I'm happy to hear you ended up enjoying the game despite your criticisms of it. I believe comments like this come from the people who care the most, even despite the negative points you bring up, so trust me when I say that I'm glad you provided your thoughts.

Still, I simply can't ignore the fact that several of the things brought up in your review are very uninformed and/or entirely incorrect.

You say that more encounters should exist, and bring up friendly encounters as an example. Correct me if I'm misunderstanding, but are you saying that friendly encounters should be in the game if they aren't? Because they are in the game already. There's one in the Palace. (I'm probably just misreading your wording, though, so this isn't a huge deal)

The "bugs" that you bring up aren't bugs, as explained in various places in the game. You say there should be a token dictionary. There is one. If you took the time to read the tutorials or look at the menu, all of these features would be incredibly obvious.

You complain about having to scroll through the Penitentiary stuffing event when there is literally a button to skip it and fix your exact issue. You say the Gourmand event has no variety, when it's one of the most expansive events in the game and has differing outcomes for every choice that affect runs in different ways. You say the Infection comes from both Gourmand and Diabolist, but the two different afflictions they each add are wildly different.

The genuine criticisms of your review I can appreciate, like the lack of variety in events and the lack of images for some characters and scenarios, and I'm going to be working on this stuff in the future. However, I don't understand how you talked about so much of the game's content and still provided such a largely misinformed review.

Like I said, I get that this review is well-intentioned, and I don't want to push away someone who enjoyed the game enough to provide so much feedback. However, I would urge you to do a bit more research and take more time to verify your claims before posting so much criticism in the future. Despite that fact, though, I'm still grateful that you took the time to review the game at all.

It's probably an extraction issue. Make sure the zip file is extracted and the game's HTML file is in the same place as the "data" folder.

A bugfix.

The free supporter version is updated to 0.1.1, so you can just download it from Patreon and transfer saves as normal.

I don't know what you mean by "the uninvited event," but the save to disk function is pretty simple. You click "Save to Disk" in the menu, then it'll prompt you to download the save. Keep that save somewhere you'll remember, and then when you want to load it click "Load to Disk" and double click on that file, wherever it is

The palace and its content will be remaining on Patreon for the foreseeable future.

What gave it away?

They should be transferable, as long as you're using the "Save to Disk" and "Load from Disk" functions in the saves menu.

Final release is still pretty far off, so I don't want to make statements about something that'll potentially be happening months or even years in the future. Regardless, I imagine all of the starting party's weight stages will be free at that point.

You would only have access to the paid version for the month that you're subscribed, but you won't necessarily need to be subscribed all the time. I'll be making clear announcements regarding new content whenever the game receives updates, so you can feel free to subscribe and unsubscribe whenever the content seems worth it to you.

I use custom made LoRAs for the characters along with the "reference" ControlNet to maintain their designs.

Stable Diffusion for images, Udio for music.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked the game. A bug report channel is planned to be a part of the Discord, but for now the best place to report them is the Weight Gaming page for the project.

FATACLYSM should work for Android, you just need to play it through Joiplay. I can't really help you with setting that up, but others have reported it working (albeit with some issues).

That bug should now be fixed in the current build of the game. Go ahead and redownload and the left sidebar shouldn't bug out anymore.

I mentioned this in my last post, but I plan on making a server by the time the next update is out.

I'd recommend trying to message me on Weight Gaming then.

Not really. If you're having issues with PayPal or Patreon, you or anyone else can feel free to message me on there or on Weight Gaming about it.

It's not currently planned for there to be any weight stages past immobile, but it's certainly not impossible for it to be added in the future.

My experience with anything Android is pretty much nonexistent, unfortunately. I don't really know much about APKs, so I'm not sure how I would do this.

Yes, it will be.

What platform are you playing on?

It wouldn't really be possible, unfortunately. The vast majority of information offered by hovering over stuff can be found elsewhere in the game, but it would definitely be much less convenient/informative.

The game can reportedly be played on Android, though I haven't really tested it myself. Playtesters reported that using Joiplay provided the best results, so try looking into that if you're interested in playing.

I might add some instructions for installing FATACLYSM on mobile in the future, along with a setting for a stripped down mobile UI, but your best bet for now is probably to try and get it set up yourself.

A cheat menu may be added in the future, but for now it's probably going to be a while before it's considered.

I'm not sure if the full game will be completely free in the future, but a free version of some kind will definitely always be available to download. However, the public build will still be receiving new content as its developed, just at a slower rate than the Patreon version.

When development for FATACLYSM concludes I might make a full release price tag, but that's gonna be pretty far in the future. The Patreon subscription system is going to be standing for quite some time, but the public build will still be getting updated.

Thanks for reporting this. The bug should be fixed in the current download now.

Within the next couple of hours.

I just posted a concrete release date in the newest devlog. If everything goes as planned, May 17th is the date I'm shooting for.
