good game i enjoyed

me too

Yep i have to quit. Im not actually gonna stop working on the game, but this week was CRAZY and i didn't have time to finish.

Thanks bud :D

Here ya go. I actually fixed it by making the ground in one piece (before i duplicated the same ground sprite 4 times and it would say it's not on the ground randomly). It might be more time consuming to have to modify the sprite in paint.net every time i wanna change it but hey, it works so it should be good, right? ahah.

No, in fact, I used Kyle Suchar's tutorial. I'm making a platformer.

So basically I made this ground check for my character so that it doesn't jump infinitely

Problem is that when i go across ground tiles it says it's not on the ground (i go across the ground and is ticks and unticks the "isGrounded" bool. Any help?

Woah dude thank you so much! I was really on the verge of giving up because of this! <3 <3 <3

im so jealous like everyone here has good progress and i can't get the health system in place (why is the canvas so big compared to my other sprites urghhhh)

CHUU CHUUUUUUUU

When the jam starts the page will be updated with a theme and a place where you can submit the game.

The jam is about to start in half an hour and I want everyone to have fun while doing what you love! I wish you the best of luck at making a gnarly game! :D

He just said you can't use easy save.

Great, thanks!

Yeah, have fun everybody! That's what the jam is about, having fun doing something you love :D

If you're like me, really messy and feeling overwhelmed, try to make a schedule, on paper or on an app, like Trello or something like that (I saw that Dani uses it so I decided to use it too).

I am quite new to coding, and I don't know a lot of stuff about it. I can use tutorials, right?

Well that's great! Thanks for letting me know :D

Downloaded I don't know, but (from what I know) if you don't know certain stuff about coding I believe you can look up tutorials to help you out.

This is the first game jam I'm joining and I don't know how we're going to be notified. Is the page going to be updated? Are we going to be e-mailed? Will we be e-mailed about the page updating? I don't know, so any help will be nice :)
