Sorry 'bout that - no clue how I messed up the upload process.
Or maybe the game itself decided it didn't want to played haha
I think I reuploaded it? Still doesn't work though. Everything I tried to code seemed to be cursed so the little I had left at the end not working is kinda funny. I'm trying to remake the game and hopefully have the original idea working soon, maybe by the end of the month, then upload it to my account.
I'll for sure try your game! I haven't much time to play other devs' submissions yet but definitely will soon
Thanks. I didn't get much of the idea working - it was a repeating series of spending 5 hours working on a mechanic, watching tutorials reading the docs, and eventually moving on to something else. In the end very little ended up in the game but I felt I learnt a lot and looking forward to the next jam I join
Haha yeah, issues with the sprite sheet is what happened there. Really glad you enjoyed the attack animation! Luna was responsible for that and I agree it looks sick.
I'll 100% try and do all the things we originally intended. A the last 2 days of the jam was me spending 5 hours on an idea, couldn't get it to work, moved onto something else.
In the end not a lot worked, but really glad I tried and got something submitted
Thanks so much for playing and leaving feedback :D
I had some stand-in sprites I was using while making the game, it was clearer on what to do - attack the enemy. Problem happened when I tried to convert the artist's frames into godot from adobe animate - could not at all figure out how to get the frames into a grid. The original animations looks sick but cause I couldn't crop them properly it ended up in what you see, and with 20 minutes left before the original deadline we were panicking.
also, the direction of the sprites is flipped incorrectly lmao
It is very janky, thanks for playing it and taking the time to leave a comment though.
I hope you'll enjoy our next project more :)
