man, i thought one more guard would have defeated the bat. can't believe i lost.

you're welcome

Full disclaimer : I'm the playtester and I also happen to be friend with the developer.
I'll be as objective as I can be, still.

I actually managed to beat the game. Uncyphering the alphabet was actually pretty trivial but the second part threw me out of the loop for maybe a good hour, I'd say?

The tutorial really didn't help a lot. It doesn't explicitely tell you where your program is or how your cards affect it. You either notice it or you don't when the game asks you to play a card to proceed.

Speaking of which, cards took a lot of trial and error to understand exactly what impact each have on your program, and even after knowing their effects, their presentation still looked confusing sometimes. Probably took me around 30 minutes overall to nail that one down.

Captchas, again, took a bit of trial and error to understand exactly what was expected of me. (Only the COMP/PBMC line needs to be satisfied.)

With all that, I personally have my doubts about the game's accessibility. (which unfortunately the comments seems to back up)
The game looks extremely daunting with basically 2 vastly different puzzles stacked on top of each other and I think might need (very) basic programmation knowledge beforehand (or at least it can help a ton!)

All that being said, once all that was figured out, the concept of the game was really neat and I actually had a lot of fun clearing it.
Even replaying multiple times and figuring out how to optimize my plays to solve captchas faster and more efficiently kept me on the hook for a good couple hours.

The music and SFX were fine, I have more of a thing for the visuals tho. The chosen colors and the terminal-like visual are eyecandy for me.
