How does your game fit the theme?
You follow minecart rails as you explore a mine, and a narrator tries to keep the adventure on-rails.

I wasn't expecting a RPGMaker game! It was really well written and fun to play, thank you for this game! Played it two times in order to redo the choice 😁

For information: I wasn't able to run the linux version (it's strange the windows .exe is inside the zip ?), it complains about missing fonts 🤔

Thank you! I'm glad you appreciated it!

Ah, there's probably an issue with RPG Maker MV's Linux exporting. I'm not sure how much I can do about it, but I'll look into it. Worst-case scenario, there's still the browser version.

I enjoyed this! Like the others, I really enjoyed the 4th wall breaking. My favorite was when the narrator said there was no chest at the bottom of corridor because the only chest sprites they had would have faced the wall and looked weird 🤣. Thank you for making this!

Oh, this was incredibly witty.  I assume it was made in RPGMaker, which is also a perfect choice for the conceit. I enjoyed the narrator's reactions, especially in the aftermath of the meaningful choice,

Really enjoyed the stanley parable vibe with the narrator ! Nice game ^^

Besides my ears bleeding as that main menu music blasted my ears off, I really loved this game! The humour with breaking the 4th wall was great and you had something up your sleeves for most of the dumb choices I made. Good thing, that I abused that chest, else the end fight would've been hard (of course I chose the meaningful choices in my first run through the mines). I really wanted to use that pickaxe in the fight, but weren't allowed to, this made me a little bit sad. Great job!

Oh yeah same I wanted to use that pickaxe, not necessarily for the fight tho

Thanks! There are a few things I want to change in a post-jam update, and I'll make sure toning down the title screen music is one of them. I'd already been considering addressing some of the other concerns you brought up, too.
