Thanks a lot for your review! We still had a ton of things to make the game more dynamic but sadly ran out of time. If what we had was enough to entertain for five minutes, it's good enough :D

Thanks for your feedback :) We'll work to improve the difficulty once the review period is over

Thanks a lot for playing!

Thanks a lot for playing :) we had plans to add more difficulty to the game as the play time passes and add boss cards after a certain play time, but sadly ran out of time to create them. We'll work on that after the review period is over.

Thanks for your review! There were lots of things that we wanted to add to the game to increase its difficulty, like boss cards, but sadly we had no time due to the submission date. We'll work on that when the submission period is over.

Thank you so much for the review :D

Oh thank you so much for your review! You're absolutely right, it's really hard to lose in this current version. We intended to increase the difficulty as the years pass in-game, but had no time to add this feature due to the jam's deadline. We'll work on that after the review period is over.

Really cool game :D I really enjoyed the graphics, very few people took this low poly aesthetic in this game Jam and it really stands out.
The design is good also, I just wished there was some type of feedback to the "chaos", like people running around, the fire raising, the security running to see what happened and stuff, because there isn't chaos going on if nobody notices it.

Anyway, great submission!

A very well game made within such a short time limit. I loved how you transformed the store into a small HUB world for all the minigames. My only problem was with the Utilities minigame, because the camera angle and the controls made dodging the walls almost feel like a 3D Flappy Bird.

The music is also super trippy. Really liked it!

Very original concept. It's hard to grasp the commands at first and sometimes you rely more on guessing where the ship will appear from offscreen than actually playing it skillfully, but it was fun nevertheless. By the way, the music had huge Master System vibes, which was a huge plus to me :) good job!

I had a lot of fun with it :) The variety of attacks was really cool, especially if you take into account that it was made within 7 days. I just missed sound effects/music, even some online sfx generators would've helped. Well done!

It's really cool that you made all by yourself, but seems like this game is weird just for the sake of it. For instance, what's the point in having a button to attack when there's nothing to attack?
Anyway, nice submission :)

The art is gorgeous! However, the controls feel really wobbly, especially when trying to get the items together. I often found myself with the items I was holding trapped by the walls or at the opposite side of where they needed to be. Perhaps in this case a simple inventory with drag and drop mixing would've worked better. Even so, incredible art makes up for this problem.

The tune is super catchy and It's nice that you've made quite a variety of levels, but there are some game/level design things that could be improved. If you start each level going to a different side and already being chased - for instance - the player will always fail at its first attempt on that stage.

Also, sometimes the game just freezes when you retry a level and I had to refresh the page.

Anyway, it was a fun game and I played almost all the stages :) keep it up!

The concept is really cool, but a more visual tutorial would really benefit this game, at least for the first teleportations.

Oh, the music was dope! Really cool.

Nice submission for the jam! However I ran into a bug twice where the stage time ended in the middle of a random action (walking over objects) and the UI got crazy. I couldn't advance further.

If I could change something, it would be the soundtack. The club beats really don't add much to the game. Something more tranquil would really counterpart and benefit the chaos happening at the screen.

Wow thank you! And you even played it for quite a while, that's so nice to read :)

We wanted to add more difficulty levels and boss fights as some "rare crisis" card, but sadly we ran out of time for the Jam. We'll implement that later for sure!

Wow, this game feels so good to play! The pixel art is very well made, the music/sfx feels awesome and different from that knight in a dungeon standard and the inventory management was a nice extra. If you decide to improve this game over, I'd suggest adding different skills or some feedback for when the monsters get killed (like the boss has).

Good job!

Hey there,
Could you tell us what's not working?

I really loved how you made individual animations for the characters. Usually for a game jam they would be static. I'm totally following your work from now on!

The lesson learned at first try is that sometimes it's better to don't get distracted with your phone and run!

Played it multiple times and love it. The timer until the phone runs out of battery is actually manages to drive anxiety and urgency, quite a feature for a text based game!

This game was so interesting to see! Soundtrack, dialogues... everythings's good... but absolute kudos to the artist Sasha, because the pixel art looks gorgeous. I'll definitely wait for a part 2!

DIMMER

Dimmer's a cyberpunk action game with lots of neon. The core mechanics are changing your weapon parts for different kinds of shot and using a cover system to heal/change or reload your gun for a more "John Wick" shootout experience.

This game is really well made! I didn't expect to see a rhythm game in this Jam, and I love them. Also, the visuals are really good and there are many different tracks, which is a huge plus. THe only downside in my opinion is that the inputs that come for you to press are so isolated from the rest that you can barely see what's going on in the game because you're too focused in pressing them. A way to integrate it to the art in the center of the screen would make it more enjoyable.

Overall, it was a really good game!

The change mechanic  reminds me of classic shmups like Ikaruga and recent games like Outland. It was really well implemented and the last stage had some real clever platform placement, like the black and white stairs merged together.
Really well done!

This game was amazing to play! It was really well made, specially for a first game :D keep it up!

Thank you for the comment! :) We thought the game already looked simple enough as it was, so we had to add the diagonal movements as well otherwise it would feel lazy.
