Bows have a very weak earlygame but once you get your skills they actually are rather strong. Funny enough they feel more like casters than the mages do. With a mage it sometimes feels like your most optimal way to play is to equip a bell and then just hold leftclick. With a ranger though, your poison arrow and spreadshot are to be used pretty much as soon as they come off cooldown; and while it isn't easy to use, the arrow rain is quite powerful, especially as a tool to engage. The bow mastery skill also increases your attack speed considerably, which is just satisfying on top of the obvious dps boost.

There's only a handful of zones in the current version:
Outer sanctum, home of basic slimes. From here you can go to the inner sanctum, catacombs, or swine country
Catacombs, home of the undead. The game's only dungeon currently, but there's three levels and each level has multiple variations
Swine Country, home of mekkboars. Don't know the official name of this zone, but there it is. Used to have another zone or two after, but those have been blocked off due to not really having anything. Even now it only exists as a place to farm mekkboars for the repeatable quest and a unique drop or two if you care
Inner Sanctum, home of slimeks. Has a unique mechanic where killing enough slimeks summons a boss, leads to the ruins
Ruins, home of golems. Touching two sigils here brings you to the end of the current main story quest, but you'll probably only be somewhere around level 10-12 when you do so. Afterwards you're expected to return to:
Catacombs part two (and three), home of the good loot. Your first dungeon run is rather basic, but the lv6-12 and lv12-18 versions have optional bosses at the end with a bunch of unique drops and ramps up the difficulty a fair bit, giving you a reason to actually think about your playstyle
Level cap is currently 20, and there is technically gear with that high of a level requirement, though at that point there's nothing to really use it for (yet). As a thief that's plenty of levels to get all the skills you need (since it's split between katars vs bow, which scale off different stats so you're not going to want to try to use both on the same char) but warriors and especially mages have a lot more cross-compatibility with the skills in their respective trees which makes picking your levels more important. You may even want to sometimes hold onto a couple points to meet the level requirements of some skill ranks.
You can beat the unique quests in an hour or two, but getting to the point of beating the strongest boss will take considerably more time, and if you want to actually max out a character you could be looking at ballpark estimate of 6ish hours depending on how efficiently you're grinding and how lucky you are with equipment dropping for the character you're currently playing as (though mimic chest carries over between characters, so if you're playing a warrior and get an epic staff drop, you can toss it in there and use it on your mage character once you get one to a high enough level)
I know I'm late to reply, but the chest in the shop transfers between characters. If you get an epic drop for a different class, you can put it there, make a character of that class, and when you get to a high enough level it'll be there waiting for you.
As the game progresses, higher level enemies will be added, it's just natural. As-is there's no real reason to grind to level 20+ or whatever
Item abuse is already handled by potions having a cooldown. I get that you have a weightgain/fat fetish but jesus that would be an unbelievably unfun mechanic
Absolutely fantastic game. Comboing chokehold, dice flip, and +2 for huge advantage after a parry or two is really satisfying and the scenes are nice and hot. It does feel kinda weird that the straight 3way scene is skippable but the gay 3way scene isn't, and it's also a bit of a shame that bastet doesn't get a scene at all, but those are rather minor nitpicks. It'd be really great to have another game in this style or maybe a sequel or something. Perhaps Alea could become a dungeon guard and be tasked with stopping other sexy adventurers
I remember some versions ago that there were areas past the ruins and the split with the hogs, and the teleporters are still there but don't have their use prompt. Were these zones disabled entirely or am I missing something to unlock them? I attuned with both ruins sigils and completed the 12-18 catacombs so as far as I can tell I've done everything there is to do that could unlock anything
A neat experiment, but...
First off, something you're assuredly already aware of but the programming is kinda jank. There's times when two of the same ball are rubbing against eachother and shifting for 5 seconds straight without combining/destroying; and sometimes when balls combine it also spawns another ball up top for some reason? While the glitch squares are an interesting idea, they ultimately aren't very fun in a game style that's largely about precision. The ability to spam balls before they finish falling and the seeming lack of ability to die also holds the game back from being, well, a proper game
Just checking, did you get permission to use all the art in the game? I recognized the game's icon as an oddly cut off version of a piece by coco1sb: https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/47706450
Pretty cool baseline. Feels kinda CoC. Couple oddities I've noticed so far:
1) In the victory sex as male vs slime, at the end it says I crush it in my paw, even though I'm a human and theoretically shouldn't have paws
2) In the victory sex as male vs imp(f), it says I bring out my 4 inches, even though 4 wasn't even an option, the lowest was 6 (which is what I picked)
3) As female grappling an imp, (and probably gnoll? Male was copy-pasted, I imagine female is too) the second wait says " you keep tesing it" instead of teasing it
Is there any use for gold at this point in the game? I couldn't find any kind of shop and wouldn't expect to find one in the cultist prison but you're given some for making it to the end anyway, which feels kinda weird.Looking forward to seeing this game develop!
Oh, and I imagine the game description should probably say "dating sim" not "dating sin", even if it's not entirely inaccurate lol
How hetero-friendly is this game/will this game be? I played through the original and was kinda disappointed when I realized that every single encounter was male and you get blueballed with the tigress at the end. That said, the scene with the gryphon shopkeeper was fantastic, so if there's any straight content here...
Feels kinda jank. Her arousal resets seemingly randomly, even when actively pleasuring her, the dick builds arousal way slower than the pussy in general, if you move your mouse an inch off target it takes your hand off entirely and makes you wait a couple seconds, and most egregiously, it takes absolutely FOREVER to regen stamina without a potion. I should not have to wait over an hour to recharge stamina. It's a premise that you can do a lot with, but there's a lot of work that needs to be done
The cheats recommended in postgame seem to be a little finicky. I think part of it is that when you're told about the cheats, they're capitalized but pressing shift seems to make it not work. It also feels a little weird that even after the catastrophe is taken care of, moving around the map still drains my battery but you're given a full charge upon entering postgame and you only really lose charge when switching islands so that doesn't matter. I will ask this though, according to the guide there's a secret scene that requires you to have all hints to unlock. I beat the game with only 3, am I locked out forever? Do I have to play the whole game again from the beginning to get it?
-Enemies hitting too far is something I noticed with wizpigs specifically. The others are fine in my experience.
-As much as I'd like to say git gud, there's a couple specific fights where spamming cake really is your only option. Most notably the arena battle where they spawn in half a dozen or so of those... blight things at once. The blue-gray log enemies. 1v1ing them is typically pretty easy, but in that group fight it's a never-ending stream of projectile spam from them as not even heavy melee weapons will stagger the whole group, and the attack goes through walls.
-Mob drops have extremely high rates, and quests count any of the drop in question that's in your inventory. With the exception of the boar quest, the repeatables use stuff that you're likely going to be killing anyway doing the main quest, so it's often free bonus exp. It's a lot harder to make non-kill quests repeatable
-I didn't personally use magic on my run, so I can't really say for that
-In that later area there's chests at the end of arena battles that give equipment as well, though I do agree that it really feels like the shop should have non-basic gear eventually. Like, after you beat the slime diva make it so you can buy slime gear
-For the most part enemy attacks are telegraphed. Keep in mind that blocking is an animation cancel and it makes more sense for taking attacks to be punished as much as they are... except for the previously mentioned cluttered arenas
-It's to make kill quests more reasonable. If you gotta collect 30 rat butts you don't wanna be waiting 5 minutes for that cluster of 3 rats to respawn each time
-I feel like dodge and shield using the same resource IS a good thing. They're your defensive options and part of the mid-fight decision making is deciding which to use when. Against wizpigs, dodging out of range is your best bet, but if you're 1v1ing a golem, keeping things to just parries will let you put out a bit more damage. Panicking and using the wrong thing or just spamming it and putting yourself in a bad situation due to running out of stamina should be punished
Can we please get less obnoxious minigames for collecting wood and rope? Especially if you're going to have arbitrary upkeep with blair and the tattoo. On an unrelated note, do the hints actually lead to anything in the game? I've officially reached the end and have everyone in the gallery, but of the three hints I've found, one was an answer for the quiz I already completed by the time I got it, and neither of the other two really make sense or sound like they have anything to do with anything in the game. No crowns, tea, or biscuits to be found as far as I can tell
