Class weapon drop rates

I'm absolutely loving the game so far, however the class weapon restrictions are a bit problematic,  I understand why the feature exists but upgrading gear can be incredibly annoying, especially after spending a day on a boss only to have them drop a weapon I can't use, I've done multiple runs clearing out all the enemies I could find without them dropping anything I could use, I know it's not really my place to suggest this but I think it would be really  cool if;

- the loot pools were slightly skewed towards the class you're currently playing (e.i. mystics have a higher chance of getting mystic weapons as opposed to bows or swords

-"special" or unique weapons were multiclass, such as boss drops or rare enemy specific drops (like the giest scythe, so that you still have the option, even if it would be weaker than a class specific weapon of the same level

I'm just bringing this up because the moment you hit level 10, looting goes from "ooh! New weapon! Shiny!" To "oh.. I can't use that.."

The ability to multiclass to unlock two weapon pools could also help remedy this but tweaking the drop pools based on class would probably be significantly easier so close to release

On a semi related note, a paladin class would be really fun, but thats obviously something that would be more of an idea further in the future

this is a really good suggestion, but for some reason the author doesn't like the suggestions for conveniences for class mechanics. in short, I hope at least you will be heard

Weapon types are no longer class locked in the newest version.

I would also like to remind everybody that the chest in the shop carries over between characters. You can't use that legendary bow drop on your mage, but you CAN put it in there to use on your thief.

+1 for loot tables being slightly bent towards whatever class you are playing.

I was playing mystic (before i decided to wait for steam release) and i got enough purple equipment to fill most slots for my bandit and half for fighter but I got to level 17 and i'm running with level 10 weapons and i have 3 armor pieces below level 10 and only one piece of that gear is purple(ring).

If adjusting drops a bit to fit what you are playing is out, increasing the amount of loot you get would be great. One good piece of loot you can't use from a boss is no bueno.

Other than that the game is incredibly fun and addictive.
