Glad you like it.  I'm definitely planning on adding more features and hopefully multiplayer.

I did something similar in Unity using CSCore.  Here's a video (warning for flashing lights):

Not sure how easy that is to adapt to Godot, but I'm happy to offer any advice or help I can.

That tune is going to be stuck in my head all day now

You get extra story/narrative points for just how incredibly weird this is - in a good way.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by that?

I really like this but dragging the window around is really janky and difficult on my setup.

It would be really cool if the animation acted as a music visualizer since I usually have music playing in the background and it fits the theme.

Haha I love that.  I really need to scale the UI better when it's not fullscreen.

I actually planned on implementing tower cost scaling on the last day but I ran out of time but it will definitely be in a future version!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback.

Good job putting a submission together.  Reminds me of some old adventure games from when I was a kid.  Definitely keep going - making the puzzles more involved would go a long way.

One thing I noticed though - I couldn't find your credits / attribution for the assets you used.

Interesting idea - very unique take on a shmup.  Definitely not a mechanic I've seen before.  I wish the camera followed the ship a little more closely though - it's easy to run blind into an enemy.
