Hi Anya!! thank you so much for checking it out! So glad you liked it, the visuals and the overall theme! I managed to get the inventory working, but as soon as it got uploaded to itch, players were encountering errors in their browsers and couldn't progress after the first item, so implemented a quick hotfix to remove it. So right now, the items aren't in the game. gonna start working on a patch this week and see what we can do to repair!
Just finished another session playing this game and I'm really enjoying it! I'm so happy to see a game with RPG and Adventure mechanics in it, and it was so fun exploring the apartment block searching for items and interacting with the NPCs! The statues were a nice touch too, and trying to figure out what items goes with witch statue! The music was really nice, and I love how the game gave me options to edit the music and effects to any volume. and the save feature too! i had like 7 already incase i need to backtrack haha. I'm excited to finish this game and see what the end story is for Emily! I'm at the part where you need to enter a birth date into the computer, I've entered the date I found in the game but atm it won't open, maybe I've got to look at it from a different angle (though i've reversed it and got the same result imao, i'll figure it out) :)
I played the browser version, I really enjoyed playing this!! Restarted a few times after I lost as I really wanted to win :D I really love this take on the theme of glass shattering, and the art fits into that! The logo is designed really well, and I see that you incorporated the player into it! The black and white theme looks cool. Would have love to have seen some animations for the players, like running. I think you all did an amazing job on this!
Really cool game, I love how went with a narrative approach to this and it had me really interested in playing to the end! Took some time to learn the controls, but I got used to it and it was fun finding out what was different each level! the game is a really good take on the theme. The graphics worked well with the black background, and I liked the fact you had spotlights in the level!! It really added to the dark atmosphere!
Oh wow, thank you so much for the lovely feedback! I really wanted to focus on the sky reflecting, and hoped that it would 'wow' the player along with the art, so that comment means a lot! The levels could definitely be longer! I think having a much longer level would help to space the platforms out, and I could make the jumps longer and more natural looking! I'll keep this in mind, thanks so much again, and I'm glad you enjoyed playing it!
