yup. knew i failed miserably.

this wasn't made in a tracker. this was made in famistudio.

i'm sorry i'm a fake. /j(famistudio does emulate an NES)

on a more serious note, thanks for the advice! it's my first time releasing a chiptune album to the world and i was expecting everyone to hate it and remind me why i shouldn't be a musician. i'll keep this in mind next time! Thank you!

really like where you went with your soundtrack! do you have any tips for a practical newbie?

any tips? i tried to add more, but it ended up screwing everything up. i used famistudio with the vrc6 expansion (adds two more square waves and a SAW)

ok.

nice

also, you're norwegian?

wait, where's your track??

game seems like a nice idea, but still.

really love the mix between retro and orcestral here!

i thought i was going to get dogged on. guess not.

also, thanks for the advice. i'll keep it in mind next time i try this

also, yes, i was using famistudio, the closest you can get to a NES DAW without it just being a tracker

it's not that good aaaaa...

f**k, i knew i should've added way more.

then again, every time i tried to add something cool, it just ruined everything (it's not easy to make good music for the NES, even with the VRC6 expansion)

Really good!

you do need it to be 3 MIN tho...

Pretty much. Although I feel like it's not good enough.

hell, this game idea kicks butt.

also, why did you have to make the ending so painful...

This slaps ngl. It might win!

why oh why did i choose chiptune.

Well, what hast thou, villen?!

What about vocaloids/utauloids?

I know very clearly that if I want to complete this in the way I originally envisioned, I'd need more than 9 Days. However, I then got an idea: What if the OST I submitted was for a DEMO for the game? Is that allowed?

Can you do pixel art? Specifically NES style?

Thus, the light of this great adventure has risen. Some of our heroes are just starting their journeys, others have already written their destinies. In the end, may the best man win.

The jam is near its dawn. I have already accepted defeat, but will still fight on. However, may the best man win.

Guess I gotta learn FamiTracker in a month...

While having a very cruel assignment...

So that means even less sleep...

Nice life innit?

I’m 14, new to this site and almost never made anything before except for a bad quality Speedcore track.
