Very epic game

About moving the train, a very small teleport as well as a few particles or any other visual cue along with also building up speed is what I was referring to when repeatedly pressing the down key, but it's just a suggestion and I don't know if it would feel better for the game or it would actually make it worse :P  How it is now is fine and I'd get used to it after a while.  I think the train speed depending on the size of the train is a good idea too, but as I always tell myself on designing games, no one really knows if it's good or not until you try it, so good luck! And keep making great games ;)

Hi The0r :P

This is a nice and simple game to play! I like the idea and simplicity of the gameplay. Outside of a game jam, a tutorial level would have been pretty good because I was confused for a little bit on what to do. Perhaps not spawning any zombies until the player mines 1 or 2 ores would have been enough as a mini-tutorial so the player could get a feel with the game. Also, maybe repeatedly pressing the down key to move the whole train would be better so it would have a more immediate feedback to the player instead of just holding down the down key to gradually move the train. I think this way, it wouldn't feel that "slow". Other than that, I think this quite a good game for a 2-day game jam. The art and gameplay feel great together. Moving the train to align the carts to the ores is quite fun as the main game mechanic and if you were to update and build on top of that, this game would be a fun game to play on-the-go on my phone. Very cool and great job! ;)

Hi Theor :P

I played through the whole game and wow. I'm blown back by the direction you took for this game. I love the simplicity of the art. It looks beautiful even though the art design is quite simple. It took me a while to get the mechanics of the puzzles so perhaps when the player struggles for about a minute, you can show an arrow that points down above a pillar. Other than that, the game mechanics are nice and the puzzles have a nice progression in difficulty so good job. :D

It's really inspiring to see and play this game from start till finish. I've been a quite unmotivated to make games recently because of issues I don't want to get into but in short, thank you. It's inspiring to see the games you've been making and it's quite nice to see how far your journey as a game dev has taken you. Amazing work and a joy to play.

5/5 :D

Hi Theor :P

I love the atmosphere of the game! It had that spark create some curiosity within the player. The visuals and audio complemented each other very well to create that immersive atmosphere. I also just love minimalist games :P   They're all quite pleasing to the eye!

I wanted to get all the endings when I saw that the ending I got was ending 1. So I played it multiple times, looking for hidden buttons and spamming left click on everything, but only got ending 1 and 2. Perhaps a few subtle nudges towards the endings that are a bit difficult to get would be helpful to players like me :P

Overall it looks fantastic! I just wish that moving platform was a bit less buggy :P

Thanks for playing! It's very fun to see someone else enjoy my game! I really appreciate it!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it :P

Oh I thought I fixed that O__o

Anyway, now it's fixed :^) Thanks for bringing that up!

Thanks for playing! I wanted to create that thrilling experience for my players so I'm happy to hear that!

Thank you! I'm glad I scared the hell out of you :P  I'm hoping to make even better games in the future. I'm glad you learned a lot from this game. Thanks again for playing!

Thanks for playing! I've been studying up on game juice so I'm glad to hear that! I've recently updated the game to support keyboard controls because of the huge amount of comments about it and toned the AI down a tad bit as well. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed! Thank you again very much!

Thanks for playing! I was definitely hoping for the "panic" feeling for the controls but I suppose that the onscreen controls were not the right way to approach it. Anyway, thank you for the constructive criticism! I really appreciate it!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

Hello! Just updated the game to support keyboard controls! :^)

Thanks for playing! I'll be updating the game with keyboard controls as an accessibility option after the jam's rating period ends. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for playing! I poured a lot of time on juicing my game up :P

Thanks for playing! I realized that maybe I should lean into the claustrophobic nature of a dungeon crawler so I made the dungeon quite tight. I might decide to release this game on mobile if I my time allows me, but I'll update the desktop version of the game to support keyboard controls when the game jam's rating period ends. Thanks again!

Thanks for playing! I poured in a lot of effort on the game's feel so I'm happy to hear that! I'll update the game with keyboard controls after the game jam's rating period ends. Thanks again!

Thanks for playing! It's just the player speeding up but I see why that wasn't clear for most people. Thanks again!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA XD      Hi TheoR :P

I actually love horror games so I sometimes study what makes them atmospheric and scary so I'm glad it scared a lot of people. Thanks for the feedback! I suck at UI so I made the screen a fixed width and height (and also because I was running out of time)  :P

Thank you very much for playing!

Hi yagoo :P

haha dungeon goes brrrrr

Thanks! I spent a lot of time on the sound design so I'm happy to hear that!

Thanks for playing! I wanted to make the game a bit harder by making the player more prone to mistakes through forcing the controls to be on screen, though, I do think an accessibility option to play using the keyboard would have been nice. Thank you very much for the feedback!

Thanks for playing! I really like making juicy games :P  I did actually have a mobile mindset when making this game and I do think it would be really nice to be played on mobile. I wasn't able to add in extra features because I was running out of time but I could add those in the future if I decide to expand on this game. Thank you very much for the feedback! I very much appreciate it!

Thanks for playing! The controls were intended to be on screen and difficult because I think that's what makes the game interesting. I think keyboard controls would work too though and I should have put it in as an accessibility option but I ran out of time. Anyways, thanks again!

Thanks for playing! The intense feel was exactly what I was aiming for so I'm glad to hear that! :P

Thanks for playing! I'm glad to hear that it was scary and atmospheric. I wanted to make it as immersive as possible so I focused a lot on the atmosphere and sound design. Thanks for the feedback!

This is one big brain game O__o

Thanks for playing! I'm glad it kept you on your toes the entire time :P   I focused a lot on making it suspenseful so I'm glad to hear that!

Very cool! :^)

Very awesome game ;)

Thanks for playing! Yeah movement is still kinda wonky. I'm still refining my FPS controller in Unity so in the future, my FPS games would feel much better. Anyway, thanks again for playing!

You can download the executable! The mouse bug is only on the web version which I tried very hard to fix but just wont get fixed :(

No, you're too good! :P

Thanks for playing! I'm glad that my game took an interest to a number of speedrunners :P  but I didn't design and plan this game to actually be meant for speedrunning. However, I'm still quite thrilled to learn that there are speedrunners who like to speedrun my game! It's fine if they rejected my game. Perhaps in the future, I'll make a parkour game that's designed for speedrunning. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for playing! Yeah, the movement was kinda wonky but I've updated it now. Thank you again for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it and played through all possible endings :P I'm very happy you played :D

Thanks for playing! Good suggestion! That slipped my mind :P

Thanks for playing! I really focused on making the game look good and to have a nice little ending for it :P Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it!

No you're magic :D
