Good:

  • If executed well idea could have been good

Bad:

  • Game is massively unfinished, to the point of being broken
  • Most art assets are missing/don't work correctly (e.g. when changing monster)
  • No clear tutorial

Good:

  • Game plays well, works as a serviceable restaurant sim
  • Game looks good
  • Opening menu is a nice touch
  • Idea is more creative than creator gives it credit for, once I understood how it worked I found it quite clever

Bad:

  • Role reversal mechanism could have been explained more clearly

Good:

  • Very impressive 3D graphics considering the timeframe
  • Impressive inclusion of cutscene, menu, options, UI considering timeframe, even quality of life skip-intro feature
  • Objective relatively clear - doesn't take much playing around to understand how it works

Bad:

  • Perhaps I'm misunderstanding here but is there any benefit to the worm to get longer? Does it not just make it a bigger target

Good:

  • Good sound design with range of music and sound effects
  • Strong and compelling visual design
  • Conceptually interesting

Bad:

  • Not clear where enemies can and can't be placed
  • No information on what the different enemy types do
  • Got stuck in an endless game, I think because both sides ran out of ammo

Good:

  • Good music
  • Interesting artistic design
  • Interesting idea

Bad:

  • No way (or at least now way shown) of skipping timer when level is set up
  • Getting the exact positions of items correct is fiddly even when you know where they need to be
  • How springs work is not clearly communicated
    (1 edit)

    Good:

    • Interesting idea
    • Can see a good amount of effort has gone into creating the movement and environment

    Bad:

    • Uses plagiarised assets
    • Gameplay does not satisfactorily interact with concept - same gameplay could be applied to any number of ideas
    • Navigating on brown paths isn't clear
    • Objective isn't clearly communicated
    • No sound design
