This was very fun! I can see myself replaying it to try to get a higher score (I got $54 so far). The game is very simple and doesn't involve a ton of choice, but I can see it being developed into a larger game without much challenge.

Hello all! Writer here, working with a programmer and composer to create a game for the winter Farm Jam. Our concept thus far is that we are building a simple greenhouse point-and-click farming sim where you grow poinsettias in pots, fertilize them, and crossbreed them to get bigger and better poinsettias… all while a silly little Hallmark romance parody plays out in the background. We are looking for:
* A sprite artist (to draw 2-3 characters and expressions, plus one background w/ time variants)
* An asset artist (to draw 20-25 flowers, game background, and items; possibly UI as well)
Please DM me if you’re interested! We’re building a server.
EDIT: COMPOSER HAS BEEN FOUND! THANK YOU ALL FOR APPLYING.

Hello! We are a writer/programmer duo looking for a team for the upcoming Otome/Josei Jam. It will be a rom-com dating sim with some satirical elements, and a strong Christmas theme. If we make a solid demo, we may try to release the project commercially, but for now, the project is volunteer. We hope to get to the point where we can share revenue!
We are looking for the following:
ComposerCharacter Artist- Background Artist
- UI Designer
Summary: Joy McClain never wanted to go back to Holly Village. After twenty years growing up in the Christmas-obsessed town, surrounded with her toxic family, she thinks she’s had enough for one lifetime and is content to live her workaholic life in the city. But when her mother unexpectedly passes away, Joy decides to return home to help her aunt (and only in-contact relative) manage her grief and run her annual Christmas flower stand. At first skeptical, Joy slowly begins to reacclimate to her old home’s small-town atmosphere and rediscover her passion for floral arrangements. She also meets some old and new friends (and frenemies) and begins to build genuine connections with them… and, possibly, some cutesy Christmas romances. But some of the townsfolk, namely her resentful tradwife sister, Misty, aren’t so happy to see her back. Can Joy reclaim her life in Holly Village without falling into its darker side? And, most importantly, which small-town crush will win the city girl’s heart?

Hi! I'd love to help. I have some experience writing my own visual novels, and I'm currently working on a large game of my own. My itch.io profile is here if you'd like to take a look at some of my work.
I'd describe my storytelling style as "slightly dark cozy". My stories sometimes cover dark topics about mental health and other sad situations, but they always have happy or at least slightly hopeful endings, and I always try to show a lot of sympathy towards them in any case. I'd love to delve deep into what makes characters tick, and how the world around them interacts with them.
Just curious to know what you still need work with. I'd love to focus on making characters, worldbuilding, and some gameplay-based writing like cutscenes. But anything I can do would be appreciated!
