I know I might be too late, but I am going to share my idea anyway.
You are a young girl who was born into a community overrun by shades and shadows (Basically 3D black silhouettes with white eyes that can go from human looking to beasts. They are only hostile to anomalies.) where no one is allowed to enter or leave. You used to be the same as everyone else but later on you started developing different ideas. In this community, everyone looks identical but only the shadows can recognize people they know. The supreme leader and god of this community is named "The night fade" (Basically an all-black octopus with 20 regenerating tentacles with an eye set where all the tentacles meet.). The night fade is the entity all shadows and fades worship and pray to every night. The night fade sees that you are different from others due to you not being a shadow, acting differently, thinking differently, etc. making you an anomaly wanted DEAD. You must find a way to avoid the bounty, make friends who support you, and possibly, just possibly, escape.
