Here's a thing: many items care for the names of the heroes. This is even an issue for Textmode mods, where heroes have their internal names and player visible labels differ. I don't think it is possible to resolve this issue

Real question is if you stopped at the Demo or not. I recommend trying demos of this game for people to check if it is fun. Do couple of runs and such, and if it is fun buy. If it isn't your cup of tea than don't buy

This is fun! The web build without shadows makes game somewhat easier. But almost walking into a wall helps on PC. I have no idea if there even is a route that wins this but trying a bunch was entertaining!

How do I attack here?

(1 edit)

Turns out web build somehow broke the end of the run code... Sorry! There were also supposed to be more weird looking enemies, but some textures don't work in web build. I think I overscoped once again.

P. S. added more info to the descriptions, hopefully that'll help to confuse players less

I'm here wondering if there will be any other devs who use bevy game engine written in Rust. I know it's 0.11 and doesn't have an editor yet but it still looks cool and allows for relativly simple ESC usage

Yea part of the game jam speedups is reusing your own code whenever it fits.

I wonder if "playable" web build could help people chose what to grab and work on

How it works is: first day you START a game

Other days you continue work on games you DIDN'T participate in yet starting from previous day project files. So you could take another game written in another engine and try moving it into a similar direction of your first one I guess? You cannot submit 2 NEW games either way

It depends on what you mean by begin. Creating a new project, making some tea, grabbing the notebook and starting up the programs needed in advance is allowed afaik.

Would a WASM build AND the source being uploaded together really be a bad thing?
