Thanks so much ^_^ the bkg music needs some work haha

Engaging narrative! Nice that you gave a human perspective to the villain, her relationship with her son is an interesting contrast.

The dating app!! XD

Love that the frogs get sequentially smaller, thought it was quite hilarious XD Music is also beautiful.

Looks very well made and detailed. The dialogues are engaging, I'm impressed.

Something you might wish to tweak is that I think controls when jumping and climbing are a little floaty at times and heavy at others. Maybe the height of the jump when stuck to walls needs to be increased, and the interval for double jumping should be increased too because at times I found myself double jumping without intending to. When climbing ladders you might wish to centre the character as sometimes it got stuck hitting the ceiling at the top end of the ladder.

Creepy... haha XD The sound effects really sold the idea.

I can see how you took the concept of frogger and gave it a twist. Also I love labyrinths! :D Good job!

You should put all the files in one zip, I'm having difficulty running this.

I like this, haven't played a shooter of this type in ages, it's a nice throwback. A minor gripe I have is that the flash when firing the gun can get a bit too much and interfere with the aim, perhaps you should make only the background flash instead so that the player can still see the enemies coming.

Thanks. I used the mouse for the art because I didn't have my graphic tablet available, so kind of like trying to draw with a rock lol

Hah thanks!

Thank you!!

Thanks a bundle for taking the time to comment and give feedback. The jump! You noticed!! About the music I knew it was going to get on people's nerves fast, I should have spent more time with it, lazy me :P The colour coding is something that needs fixing too, I agree, and  I quite like the idea of matching the door shape with the pet sprite. Will look into that.

:)

Don't worry ^_^ I'm glad you had fun with it

It's mainly given to the fact that when the frog lands it doesn't reset its position so that it is upright, so the degree of mouse movement needed to change its orientation before the next jump shifts by the difference.

Thanks a lot for the positive comments and for the feedback, definitely will keep that in mind :D besides colour coding I think perhaps it would benefit also from the movement being a little more floaty and less snappy. The game is one main puzzle level as I was running out of time, and couldn't make a softer difficulty spike. I might work on this a little further in the future.

Thank you! Unfortunately the engine I'm using doesn't support web export, so it will be stuck on Windows EXE for now.

Super fun, I'm always up for a game of gwent :P Couldn't get past floor 9 then started questioning my life choices...

If Super Mario were a frog XD Good job. Only gripe I have is that it is possible to get stuck with no way to go back, so it's somewhat unforgiving... like all of my exes haha

Nice concept and art, love this.

Nicely executed, the art style, the concept, the music, the sound effects, all very cute! This needs to be a full fledged game with power ups and all.

This is one of the most think outside the box top-down shoot 'em ups I've played so far. Graphics and gameplay were quite enjoyable. I liked the enemy variety... couldn't help but think of the TMNT for some reason, maybe it was the palette. What would have helped spike up the challenge is to have the barrier move inwards so that the player has less room to move as levels go by, just an idea,

I really like this concept, I've seen some entries that use the limitation in roughly the same way i.e. to time the jump right, but I think this one has far better controls than the others. Well done!

Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it :D

I like the concept but I thought it was really hard to control and some of the platforms weren't clearly defined.

Nice concept! This is a fun game when one just wants to take a 5-min break. I found the mouse controls to seem a little off so the gameplay was a little impaired.

This is as addictive as the Dinosaur Game on Chrome :D loved it!

This was fun :D Imagine if you could use the tongue like a whip and throw the spirits by moving the mouse.

Innovative use of the time limitation. This requires some skill. The difficulty curve for getting the timing right was a bit too high for me.

Nice idea, I only wished the timer for each firefly lasted a bit longer as the frog's jump was also difficult to control in such narrow platforms. Also controlling mouse, directional keys and spacebar aren't the ideal set up in my opinion... perhaps using shift key or RMB would have been better.

Nice. This was fun! I wished when jumping at an angle and hitting a wall would not result in the frog jumping vertically in a straight line, but I suppose the time to work on it was too little. Well done :)

Very nice concept. I think the mouse control would merit a bit of tweaking because it does not seem to easily change direction unless you rotate it properly once it is committed to a direction. Otherwise, really interesting idea.

Thank you! I might work a little more on it and make it more enjoyable.

Love the graphics ^_^ I think you're at a good point

I couldn't playtest it with enough people unfortunately so my opinion about the difficulty was somewhat biased. I thought it was actually somewhat easy since there are measures to make up for lost lives and currency. For instance the player gains a new life when successfully beating a level and one star of each kind when dying. Thanks for the input though, I'll take note of it for the next challenge too.

Two lives were lost in the making of this videogame XD omg poor goldfish T_T

Nothing beats a reptilian overlord from space as a final boss haha

Thanks for the compliments! You use up stars of the respective joypad key colour whenever you use them so you need to use them wisely. It's explained in the "how to play" but it's mainly pictures so I don't blame you for missing the brief on that hehe

Games with a hidden message are among the best imo... believe in yourself and fight your fears! Nice.
