Build this out so that you grow your business into a flower farm with a much larger catalogue and you've got a nice cliccker there.

Thank you so much for the kind words Wootmeister. Yeah, in V 2.0 of the game (we're thinking PicPan II: Electric Bamboo-boogaloo" for the name) we will re-implement and rework how the game let's you know that a piece is not in a valid position. Appreciate your thoughts!

Nicely done, good defense type game! Zero collisions when placing tiles made it a bit confusing about what was going on, but not too badly. Well done.

Maybe it was just my old man eyes but that christmas red text on bright green background was incredibly hard to read. Otherwise solid clicker game with tons of potential.

VERY spring related, wasn't sure how I was supposed to get more seeds. Maybe make that a little clearer? Otherwise nice concept and good execution.

@Chloe, thank you so much for playing and giving the great feedback.

Future versions of PicPan will have much more variety in mobs (we had 5 planned) better tetris mechanics and tons of things like the scalability you mentioned. In our minds this is a single-note musical piece. While that note is well played and lovely, we have to flesh out the rest of the song.

Thanks again for taking the time and also for putting this whole thing together. Cheers!

REALLY like the "fill in the blanket, get bonus" idea. Lots. Thank you for the feedback!

I promise... all feedback is being heard.

We're planning on expanding this idea quite a bit. Any thoughts on getting the tetris mechanic to be more prominent?

Thanks Theo!! Appreciate you and Chloe setting up the jam!

Thank you very much! On Friday we all agreed fast, hectic, short, kinda like bees buzzing flowers. Really glad you liked it, thanks for the comments!

PvZ without the lanes. Well done folks!

Game wasn't in correct rez for me? Score was off to right of screen. :(

Nice. Rythm games are hard for me, but this was nicely done.

Very much enjoyed this game. Great entry to the jam!!

Smooth gameplay, with some unforgiving movement. Nice, I did like it. :)

Beautifully done graphics!

Great game. I like that you seem to be using Unity's 2D lighting mechanic as a major portion of gameplay. Nicely done.

Blocks have a slight tendency to be very 'sticky'. Maybe reduce the collider size? Dunno, but good puzzle game. Thank you!

Thank you so much for playing! We were going for, well, pandemonium. :)

I think we got that part down ok. Appreciate the feedback. Cheers!

(1 edit)

Appreciate the feedback. There is technically a tetris-like mechanic involved that (originally) clearly let the player know when food was mis-placed (and not scoring). A very last minute change removed that feedback and now it's not clear anymore. REALLY regret the change. :(

Try again and keep the foods from overlapping, you'll see score go up.

Thanks for playing!!

It's amazing what very simple AI spread out over multiple entities can achieve, eh? :)

Thanks for the feedback and congrats on the blanket fill!

Thank you very much. We were going for 'hard', so very glad we acheived that!

Birds were sped up about 20 minutes before submission. Yeah, every part of the game needed more balancing.

Really happy you enjoyed it, thank you very much.
