The aesthetic is so cool! It immediately had me itching to throw a 'lil prototype together!
Amazing job, especially with having made it such a short time!

I have some feedback for the sprite sheets: it would be helpful to use a frame for the characters, 16x16 or 32x32, so that when Unity users go to configure the animations, the sprites don't need manual adjustment. This is because there are a few frames that are larger like the skeleton with a sword (and others). See attached for example w 32x32 frame.

Keep up the great work!

Thank you for the feedback :)

Thank you for the feedback piratetune!

Hello Resta Games, thank you for the constructive feedback! All very valid points that I'll likely address post jam.

Thank you for the comments! Tower defense holds a special place in my heart thanks to many old flash and web browser games :)

Thank you very much!

Thank you for your comments!

Thank you for the feedback! I'm a big fan of the tower defense genre.
I'm glad you enjoyed the pixel art and music too! The artist and musician are both very talented, I love their work :)

  • Beautiful pixel art and GB aesthetic!
  • Feels really polished!
  • Love the light narrative and twist!

Wow! Awesome job!

  • I enjoyed the music and pixel art!
  • Page color scheme strains the eyes.
  • I like the labyrinth / maze concept.
  • There were a few times where I though I could go down a path, but the player's collider prevented me from doing so.
  • Got lost after getting to the second S - key

Good job!

  • Cool interpretation of the theme!
  • Feels like a nice introduction to visual scripting.
  • I would've appreciated more thorough instructions in order to avoid the start button crash bug

Good job!

Very cool running platformer! Nice art design; the outlined tiles remind me of the BoxBoy! games on the NintendoDS (I love those games). The constant palette swap hurt my eyes and I would have liked to have a checkpoint after the dinosaur got me, but great job overall!

Wow! I love the art direction and animation! Story mode was compelling with just the right amount of challenge. Great job!

Wow! Really cool concept with connecting time and size together! I didn't play it to completion, since I had trouble with saving. Also was confused when it came to lives/hearts since there doesn't seem to be UI tracking lives. Great game overall and I love the art!

Interesting platformer! Cool effects and movement patterns on the fireball hazards.

Interesting multitasking mechanic! I also like that you included music.
It took me a few tries to get used to managing everything at once. High Score: 105!

I like how you used random tiles to start of the player in different spots. It made it interesting to replay!

Nice job! I had fun playing through all the levels. The kill on touch block levels were the most tricky for me!

I loved the collectables, they reminded me of the fairies from Majora's Mask.

Great game, I died a lot lol. But my frustration was mitigated by quick respawns and no substantial consequences other than losing minimal progress. I found the screen shake on the arrows to be too intense and irritating - could be an optional setting.

Overall enjoyed it quite a bit! Great job!

Played for a bit and enjoyed it quite a bit! I'll return for launch. I'm really impressed that you're tackling every aspect of game design. Keep up the good work!
