The game looks really cool. I couldn't figure out how to pick up anything with the magnet though.

Hi, thanks for leaving a comment. Your feedback is highly valued. About the weird sizing of the text: It is definitely an issue with the resolution and scaling. I only built the game for 1920x1080, and did not account for other resolutions, but I will work on that tomorrow. Also, about making a Portugese version: I'm sorry but I don't think it woud make sense for me personally to spend my time working on translations for the game. I made it in 6 days, and I will probably not be maintaining it in the future. Once again, I apologize for your inconveniences.
TLDR: I wil soon work on the issues with the text and UI scaling. Unfortunatey, I do not think I will work on translations for the game, given the scope of the project. Thank you for checking it out though.
This game was quite fun to play, and had some interesting levels, with in my opinion, a really good difficulty to them. They felt really balanced. I like the mechanics of the game, and it felt really good to play Similar things have been done more, which is fine. I mean my game, is literally just a top down shooter. However, this game felt pretty unique in its own way, with the art and the music. Also, the music in this game was really good! I felt like that was really made it the best it could be, so good job. A couple other things I noticed were that the boxes would get stuck in corners, which is kind of annoying, but probably intended. And, please don't make the colliders scale with the sprites' animations. It is a little weird when you're just standing there for a second or so and then all of a sudden you die. I did really like the die screen. I thought it was hilarious. Anyway, good job with your game.
Interesting game. I think the pros of this game are definitely the music, and the opening scene, which was quite interesting to walk through. Also, the character animation is quite good. (Much better than I could do) In my opinion, there is not a whole let else. But don't be discouraged, please. I'll just share some of my thoughts of how this game could be improved.
--First off, I attempted to play this game four times before deciding to stop.--
I'm sure there was some sort of mechanic in the game, which I must have not noticed, but when I played this game, I kept getting stuck on the first piece of the cassette. I get there must be some way to get through the wall, but I'm not quite sure what it is, but after enough key-spamming, I somehow got to the first piece. Couldn't figure out how to get out though. So could you please make it more obvious how the game is supposed to be played?
Also, I know your download file says final, but if you're at all still planning on updating the game, I'll put a list of bugs I found below.
-All tiles have a sort of blue outline around them, which looks quite strange.
-You can half jump up blocks that are two tiles high
-When the timer runs out, it goes into the negative numbers.
-In the beginning screen, the music is played, but the UI sound effects on top of that produce a weird effect, which I'm almost certain is not intentional, but of course, I could be wrong.
This game fit super nicely into the theme for the game jam. I will be releasing my game for this jam later today as well, so stay tuned for that. : ) Also, I thought it was super fun! It probably took me at least five-ten minutes before I fully got the concept of the game, so it was quite a challenge, but it felt so rewarding to complete. And because I'm slow, the game took about 18 minutes to beat. The art is fine, especially since it is a game jam, and I can tell you spent a good amount of your time on level design, because the level(s) are really complex. (The last part took a while). Overall, great job!
(P.S.): Of course I said yes to the joke.
I've been really struggling to name my project for this game jam. I don't want to show too much yet, but I'll put a screenshot below. I will continue working on the art, but the gameplay is pretty solidified. The game is a top down shooter (ability based), where the goal of the game is to keep the sides as balanced as possible. There are two sides, black and white. If anyone wants to help provide an original name for this game, and maybe even some art ideas, I'm open to suggestions, and if I decide to use your name I will make sure to credit you in the description.

Thanks for the two people who replied, however I have now decided on the theme for my game and the name. Good luck with your games and keeping jammin'!
Hi everyone,
I have recently finished a project on my itch.io page! It would mean a lot to me if you could check it out. I made the core game in 5 days for the Weekly Game Jam #144, but I have been working over the last couple weeks to improve it. There is now a completely new gamemode with randomly generated levels. I would love feedback, so if you decide to give it a shot, please tell me what you thought, either good or bad. The game is a speedrunner puzzle game / puzzle rush game. It is oddly satisfying to beat the levels and see the whole gameboard light up. I learned a lot from this game and there is definitely more to come in the future. :D

Thanks a lot for the feedback! One question for you about the formatting. How were you able to get both a download and a webGL game on your game page? It looks like I have to choose between either having my game be downloadable or played in the browser. I have re-built the webGL file and zipped it, but it still does not work
Hi everyone,
This is my first ever game published on itch.io. Although I have tried to participate in past game jams, I have always given up. Since the completion of this project I have found some more effort to continue making games, and hopefully soon, I will be able to participate in a game jam and finish! I am continuing to rate and review games, and I would really appreciate if you could leave some advice on how I could improve my game.
With that out of the way, let's talk about the game. It is a simple idle game, based off of games like Cookie Clicker, Tap Titans, and many others. The goal of the game is to accrue as much money as possible by moving your mouse around and collecting the coins that fall from the sky. I promise it gets more interesting. You can then use the money you get to buy upgrades which help you get even more money. Right now there are only 8 upgrades, but that may change in the future.
If that interests you at all, here is a link to the game:

Hello, I don't know if you are still planning on updating this game, but here are a few things I noticed:
1. There seems to be a bug where you have to click very high on the screen in order to use the fishing rod properly.
2. Consuming fish does not seem to restore the proper amount of hunger, and if it does, sometimes it happens maybe 10-30 seconds after consuming.
Because of these reasons, the first two times I played I died fairly quickly due to hunger.
I think where this game really shines is in the pixel art and the music though. The pixel art is very good, and the music, though simple, fits the mood very well.
I get that this game was made under a time limit, and I can understand how hard that is. I hope you continue to update it though.
The things that stood out the most to me when I was playing the game was the amazing art style and music. The game was short, but as mentioned above. The storytelling was better than a lot of other indie games, but i thought the game concept was pretty basic. It was hard to navigate around, with the slow jump and the ice sticking to your feet, but overall, I thought it turned out good. I can tell your team put a lot of work into making this
I really like this game! I just won for the first time, and I feel very accomplished. If there was one change I would like to see instantiated in the game, it would be to change the difficulty factor. For people who want to just run through the game at a not very fast pace, could you create a much easier difficulty. Great concept and amazing game! : )
