If we are given 2D pixel art assets, can I use them to make a 3D game, (For example as done in old school Doom, or a classic dungeon crawler) or is that against the spirit of the Jam?

I liked the game!
3 notes:
- I too found the chair-desk combo for falling outside the map to my death. (The screens on the desk look really interesting so I was drawn to them)
- I had to duck (C-key for anyone who needs it) to go through the door in front of the stair case
- Even after finding the right key, the door would still say I needed to find the key to open it, which led me to have to run around pressing Enter on each door several times to find the door it went to.
Even with those small issues, I liked it and would recommend it.
It might just be me, but I found it very hard to try and figure out were to go in each level.
The sunglasses were the hardest to find, in the first level, I only found them by accident after the third lap of the city.
The subway level was hard, but it gave me a chance to learn I could loop around the invisible ghost(?) that represents depression(?) and run by.
The ghost was hard to out run in the house level where the phone is ringing. Even knowing which doors I needed to go through I could not out run it. I think the rooms were too small to loop the ghost around, so I couldn't find a way to find my way out of that level.
I liked the spelling tutor stile combat.
The one down side is if the monster attacks you from the side, you can't see what you need to type.
I also had a attendance to try hitting enter instead of space. I don't know if others have had the same issue, but maybe have space and the enter key be the submit button?
I played several times,
The game crashed several times with the following error.
"Uncaught RuntimeError: memory access out of bounds" at CompletedGames.framework.js: 8975
Both times it happened just after killing a monster.
Also in the first room, if you walk towards the big wooden doors, you fall through the map.
P.S.
Nice graphics.
