I'm going for a blast from the past technique: about 90% of my game will be FMV (full motion video).
For the younglings among us: that's something they did in the 80's & 90's:  using real actors instead of sprites/images.



A lot of people are working with Game Maker, which is paid software. You'll be fine.

Played until floor 20. The look/sound/gamefeel is really great. Love the shop and the shopkeeper. The tonic feels quite overpowered.

Looks really weird, in a good way! Love the strange pink aesthetics. I think you found a simple yet clever way to fit the theme into a bullet hell. I would have liked a faster player character as well as some movement animations.

You really sticked true to the theme! Liked it a lot!

Really liked the looks of it, but found it hard to dodge incoming projectiles in an effective way.

Nice graphics. I like the idea of countering the bullets.. the dash didn't feel that good though. does it only work forwards?
