Friend, even if there is a commercial version, there's no reason you won't be able to play this one. The paid one will have different graphics and more content, that's all.

Really interesting game! A great balance in a game where time isn't pressuring as it the case in many other building games. This combined with the soundtrack allows for great ambience and a very chill game experience while remaining a game, with it's goals and challenges. There is enough strategic depth to make replaying a map interesting. Only downside is sometimes the visuals do not help when there is a lot of clutter.
Would definitely recommend, and will be looking forward to the commercial version!

Hello, I cannot run the game either on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
Running in the terminal gives this message:

ln: failed to create symbolic link 'libpng12.so.0': File exists
./ExeLinux: error while loading shared libraries: libGDCpp.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
./ExeLinux: error while loading shared libraries: libpng12.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Really cool game mechanics there, kept me going for a while, but I feel like just clicking on enemies to fight them was a little bit out of place, like a minigame contrasting with the actual game..
Great choice of music as well, congratulations!

Awesome entry! Like the others I had a "how the heck does it know my name" moment. Really interesting.
Also I tried everything to escape the main route and going up slopes is really messy. Otherwise great immersiveness!

I have an azerty keyboard, the "q" is where "a" would be for you so I kept putting torches everywhere (while think of moving leftwards) and blocking my own ladder ways :)  I'll give it another shot with arrows

Enjoying the environment, but the game seems to stop after awhile playing... Maybe a memory leak?
Anyway, needs a little polish but you're on the way :)

I have given a couple of tries to your game, didn't go too far (mostly because my keyboard doesn't have a qwerty layout so it's more finger gymnastics haha). But I enjoyed the mechanics and the overall feel of the game.. I could figure out what to do without a tutorial after a few tries, and that is a good sign that the game world makes sense in my opinion.
Cool entry!

Thank you that is very helpful! I will add the note for now and keep digging.

Ha I am not sure how to fix this since I only test windows from a friends laptop for windows. Just in case, have you tried clicking on the bomb or the potion icon? Also does the crash happen after the first portal or could you play 2 or 3 levels? If I can reproduce the bug, I will make an updated version. Thank you for your time and feedback!

Enjoyed the writing.
