Hello,

I’m a game developer with several years of experience, and I’m currently looking for projects to work on to earn some cash and expand my portfolio.

Here’s a list of everything I’ve worked on: https://maxisjoe.xyz/aboutme

I’m not really interested in rev-share projects. Only paid projects by milestones or a fixed monthly/weekly salary.

I’m fine with working on any game genre, and I’m also willing to work on NSFW projects.

I’m mainly a game developer who primarily uses Godot/Unity, but I’m also open to working on websites and discord bots (I will not be hosting them).

You can contact me on discord using my username: MaxIsJoe

This is just like Gorbino’s Quest. This is the Gorbino’s Quest of life.

Thanks for playing! It was fun watching you figure out things, and yeah; Karma affects the ending.

You’re laughing. The pixlated witch is getting an eviction notice, and you’re laughing.

There can only be one witch here in dis jam, pardner.

But in all seriousness, I really love this game, and it's uncommon for games to have a typing based gameplay mechanic that isn't too boring or too "toddler friendly".  The game is challenging enough to keep you on your toes to type quickly, while still giving you a generous window of time to be creative with how you word your spell casting (to some extent).

I believe that with some polish and improvements to the controls and giving the player more spells and actions to do, this would make a very fine game. This is definitely the most creative and fun game in this jam by far for me.

I feel like the game goes too fast and jumps between ideas really quickly.  It would have been nice if you got some more time to enjoy the sections of the game at your own pace.

Also, In my opinion, I feel like the movement could have been better for the top-down sections, and the final boss would be better if they weren't so damage spongy with some strong feedback to indicate that you are damaging a giant angel-statue-thing.

Away from my critiques, the art is S-Tier, especially for a game jam; It looks like the art style of an old diablo-like MMO game, though I can definitely see that some corners had to be cut for the runner section which is a shame because that's my favorite part of the game.

Pretty %#$% fun. Would definitely like to see a full length version of this game, considering the potential it has.

Glad you enjoyed it! And yes, 17550 was the required amount to pay the rent.

Just accepted it

Hi, I'm working on a story based game that draws inspiration from games like Ace Attorney and the Dangaronpa series, for more info about it please read this page.

I need artists who can create these kinds of assets for me to speed up the game's development since I'm terrible at drawing :

  • - Character Art for dialogue and profiles
  • - Side Scroller Maps (Pixel Art)
  • - Characters and Character animations. (Pixel Art)
  • - CGs and backgrounds

Anyone can come and work on the project but please try staying in communication with me at all times so you don't waste your time drawing something that looks out of place or doesn't work inside the game's universe,

Any funds that go to the game's development during development or after a release will be shared with artists who contributed to the game's development,

If you're interested please contact me on discord at /dev/Max#6049 .

I'm working on a remake for an old BYOND game called "The Wizards Chronicles", this remake's purpose is to bring back an old game back to life inside a more powerful engine while also introducing some new content and improvements.

As of right now I have implemented a lot of the basics into the game but I need help with adding multiplayer and making maps, a lot of the assets are already ready for mappers to use and i have tried adding multiplayer multiple times but I have so far failed.

the project is up on github and has all the info you might need to get started on contributing to the project

Edit : This is a hobby project, Not looking to pay someone to work on it but I'm looking for contributors who can accelerate the game's development.

We need this to be a monthly thing because god damn did I enjoy not having to stress over anything.

Found a way to cheat the system:

go top of the map and stay in the right or left corner, don't move and let them come at you. you're welcome.

instructions not clear, game very hard.

HI, I'm working on a game ace attorney like game code named "Project Scales", a game set in a society far ahead into the future where you play as a "Odonvea" a role that's similar to a prosecutor

I'm currently looking for :

  • Pixel Artists
    • For Drawing Tilesets
    • For Drawing parallax background scenery
  • Anime Character Designers/Animators who can draw character busts like Ace Attorney's characters during court sessions

Here's a few things I have created for the game already :
