Hey, thanks so much for the feedback, it is highly appreciated. I can definitely understand where you are coming from regarding the instructions, especially with the second mini-game (which is unfinished). Although filling up the bar, keeps the world from glitching out, which is why we wanted it to drain faster, so that players can observe the effects.  While we did not want to reveal too much about the game, I do think communication needs work.

Again thanks

Really great to see a pixel art-style focused game. The game is hard to navigate through on PC but has a nice style overall.

hiiiiiiii yes to answer your one question, there was a way for the game to end. There was a house the player could enter and a small scene would play. yee we wanted to create a sense of chaos and not tell players what to do. Trying to (very badly) stick to the chaos of addiction and how overwhelming that can be. We really wanted to add more context and games but we really have zero time XD Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We're so happy you enjoyed our aesthetics... we pulled two all nighters for it T-T so your kind words mean a lot to us!!!!

This is such a cute game! It has an important message behind it and we think if you take it further it could be a great educational tool to teach children about poaching through video games! This is a really great jam submission, and it's even more impressive that you did it solo!

Nice stuff! 3D games always impress us. The level design and aesthetics are really cool. It's such a great combo of an FPS, platformer puzzle game that's all 3D! The bugs we did encounter were clipping through the walls and falling through the map XD like when you break through the bedrock and see the endless horizon. The decoys were really easy to find because the real enemy had a health bar. Regardless, we still got overwhelmed when the decoys spawned and felt scared so it was very effective! This is really impressive.

Wow this game is truly impressive. We won't lie, it made us feel inadequate to be participating in this game jam XD but that's all because this was such a well-executed game. We tried playing with 5 players, it was a bit confusing at the start and the hunter lost most of the time. But eventually, we got the hang of it :D! It's such a cozy prop hunt kind of game. It really separates from the COD prop hunt. I can definitely see this as a cool party game to play with family or friends. (Like how the jack box games function) . The overall aesthetic was just so brilliant and felt so refined. That's such a great achievement for a game jam, well done guys!

also there was one pencil shaving we couldn't throw away and it made me mad T-T

OMG this was so cute <3. We really enjoyed the aesthetics of your game. Even the icon you have that has something representing each one of you is such a nice touch. It's really a nice cozy game. Your game is such a great example of simplicity having such great results. The end credits were also so cool! The screen shake and the first paper name tag falling down were really effective. It gave the scene so much ambiance.

We totally agree with you! We also wanted to drag out the story and expand the world into different games and scenarios. But alas, there are just 2 of us so doing everything was hectic XD. But we definitely wanted to refine this and make a great story for the game. Thanks for your lovely comments <3

Wow! Thank you so much for this feedback. We really did try to bank on our visuals and we are so pleased to know that you enjoyed them. This was one of the first comments we saw and it really gave us a confidence boost. <3

omgggggg thank you so much! This comment made us feel so happy. Truly, it made us feel like the lack of sleep and stress over aesthetics was worth it. We are so happy you understood our game. Yeah, the game with red squares was our unfinished mini-game... we had no time to make the assets for it T-T smh but your comment made this game jam worth it. THANKS <3 - Love, Manticore
