Sorry for the hassle and thanks for posting these, they'll help making with a post-compo bug fix version.

Memo to self: there's another soft lock when you go to the bottom right corner in the second screenshot you posted.

Glad you liked it! Yep, sadly, the bugs are strong with this one. Rushed a little too much to get this submitted in time :<

Sorry to everyone who got softlocked. Do check the game page for cheat codes to get you unstuck!

Watched development of this... Hope people give it a fair try. It's absolutely exhilarating once you get what it's all about and a one of a kind experience on the NES.

Also, procedural sound and mad levels of polish... and it's only 24kb??!

I love the jump! Even when I thought I surely wouldn't make it to a platform, more often than not, I still succeeded. Really solid overall.

Probably a bug fix version in the foreseeable future, no major changes /o\

Lovely graphics and animations! Got a bit confused about what background tiles the cart would collide with at first. Difficulty picks up considerably in level 2, there's a number of different obstacles and mechanics to manage and be decent at all of a sudden. The game is fairly short, though, so all in all, the challenge seems right.

Do you plan to continue working on this?

And have you thought of a multiplayer mode? While I was playing, I felt like the game would really lend itself well to multiplayer co-op, possibly without too much additional coding. Feels like it would be a ton of fun sharing this arcade experience with friends and family.

Multiplayer makes every game that much more fun. The penalty for running into solids (instead of death) is a great design decision. Gets pretty frantic at higher speeds - and quite emotional when someone loses their lead due to a mistake :D

Had a good bunch of fun playing this with my buddy Nicolas, the entire time we were blabbering about how cool of a game concept it is and how well polished it is. A small-scope idea executed to perfection!
