The text made me giggle multiple times. Terrific atmosphere. I found combat frustrating, but was really happy when I could start jumping backwards. <3
I liked the humor, and the mechanics were really original :) (I'd never have thought of "jump back" as a mechanic, even less as an *upgrade*)
I had the impression some inputs are propagated between the game over and the restart of the level - at some point I got stuck *above* the wall to the north of the F2 entrance.
Glad you liked it! Yep, sadly, the bugs are strong with this one. Rushed a little too much to get this submitted in time :<
Sorry to everyone who got softlocked. Do check the game page for cheat codes to get you unstuck!
I got stuck here (unless I missing something). There doesn't appear to be a way to get out-of that loop in the bottom right.
I think I'm stuck again, or am I just kissing something?
I'm glad to see these posted here after having my own am I stuck or am I missing something moment.
I realized after there are some "get unstuck" cheats on the main game page (requiring a 2nd controller)
Sorry for the hassle and thanks for posting these, they'll help making with a post-compo bug fix version.
Memo to self: there's another soft lock when you go to the bottom right corner in the second screenshot you posted.
Quite unique - I appreciate the originality! Enjoyed the music too.
Really interesting idea for a game. Grappling through levels was great. I like the back jump also, it saved me in a lot of situations that I could be hurt. I really wanted to pass the game but I can't go pass spider enemy, it kills me every time(maybe I'm bad at the game :) ), but I enjoyed this game a lot. There are a lot of awesome stuff here. I recommend everyone to play this one.
I do enjoy imagining a cyborg crow shooting across a room latching onto house plants and walls. CAW-CAW!
