I feel like I'm walking through a bubbling city underwater, shopping around, and looking all the the sights to see. Fun, cute, and very charming of a soundtrack. Well done! ^-^

I loved the ambience and pleasant sounding atmosphere. It felt like a warm hug, a welcome home, and a good time in the park with a friend. :)

Reminded me of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl soundtrack for the towns and Floaroma Town. It's one of my favorite songs from the game so it's a high compliment from me. ^-^

Thank you!! I'm glad it did! It was something more experimental with the vocaloid; I wasn't sure how it would turn out. Happy that it immersed you to an underwater land 🌊🌊

I appreciate the feedback! Glad that the underwater aspect came across. Volume control was something I could've worked on a little more. In the original mix it sounds fine, but when rendered, the vocal synth sounds a bit too loud compared to the rest in my opinion. Ironically, when uploaded to Soundcloud, it neutralized a lot of the levels, so the vocals seem to blend in better in my opinion.

I haven't watched Bee and Puppycat so I had no idea! Looks like a nice show, so I might get around to watching it. ☺️

Thank you for the feedback and musical analysis!! :) I wanted something engaging yet mellow, so I tried to have a lot of movement in the tracks. The movement was to give that "bubbling up" effect too. I hadn't realized that there was distinct tonal ambiguity in "Nemutai", so that's a good catch on that. I will try to add more structure to the new soundtrack songs I do in the future. I had the same or similar notes to give the feel of a leitmotif.

I do too! I wish I composed more songs for the soundtrack, since I loved the theme for this one. I felt inspired by it. I originally planned on adding a folk song and a city pop song. I wrote out and translated lyrics, but I was running short on time.

Thank you!! 😃 I wanted to have themes of Japanese culture involved in the soundtrack, so Vocaloid and vocal synths came to mind when thinking of the music side. I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the feedback too!

The actual Vocaloid software is pretty expensive. 😅 Alter/Ego was more accessible to try out. When I think the term "vocaloid" I think of songs that use vocal synths, but technically that is right.

Thank you so much!! It was my first time adding vocaloid to a song, and I'm glad that the siren-like effect came across!

LOOOL nice, I kept that song on in the background while I was doing stuff and my brain just went "mmm brrrr"

Glad you did! :) I tried to make it somewhat mystical.

The atmosphere is wonderful, and the blinking adds an extra element of emersion to it. The music is trance-like which helps get absorbed into the game itself.

Glad I got to help Valentin :')

I love the art style! The colors contrasted so well in the best way possible. This was one of the first games I played out of the submissions, and I blown away by the creative take on Red and directional lead revealing more about the characters at the end. It added an element of shock and horror...

Also I love bread so bread is appreciated!!

Thank you for making his forest pack!! It was perfect for my game and what I wanted. I used it in a visual novel I made recently called The Speed of Silver. https://midnightasky.itch.io/the-speed-of-silver

Hi! I had three questions.

1. Do the names of the characters for the dialogue count?

   MC:
How are you?

So would MC or another character's name count as a word for every time they have dialogue? Like how the name is above the dialogue text in Ren'py games?

2. If a character is a werewolf or a were-human, is it allowed for their eyes, nose, and/or mouth to change to be animal-like or do they have to stick to humanoid features?

3. For sprites,

have a "suggestion" of another character represented by a shadow or a reflection with very vague detail (see Illustration/CG rules)

can we have a blurry, undetailed, or blacked-out outline or silhouette of another character on the screen at the same time for the Sprite/Background rules?

Thanks for the feedback! Added some instructions to the main page just now. We will be adding more features in the future when we develop the game further. :)

It just stands for the name of the asset pack, Interstellar Portraits. In case the files get misplaced or want to be grouped, it's easier to find them.

These designs are super awesome!! It reminds me of a mix between Neon Genesis Evangelion and VA-11 Hall-A. The portraits have a lot of detail while still having a lot of readability. Great job! :)

My apologies, I fixed the files so there is a zip file included.

Thanks :) I did my best!!

Thank you!! I was trying to reference motifs between the songs, linking them together.

Thank you so much!! That was the feel I was going for. I wanted the sadness and anticipation to be there too. Glad you enjoyed it!! <3

I loved the music! It fit the feel perfectly. I don't play many tower defense games, but I found this one compelling and engaging.
