I joined about a week late and im thinking there wouldnt be enough time to make a proper full fledged game.
Would a demo of let's say 10 rounds of a shooter be enough?
Really enjoyed the mechanics and the graphics were so pleasing to look at. I really liked the batteries little waddle as it was so cute. Overall I have no problems with gameplay. However I would add some background music (even if it's quiet) and some particles whilst the battery walks. I had fun in this puzzle adventure!
If your free, you can check out my game Angry Magnet, https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2213787, and give some feedback and a rating! Hope you enjoy! :)
This is a nice game - love how original it is and everything. However I couldn't enjoy it as much as I could because the game felt more like a tutorial with a pigeon telling me what to do. Also I would change how random the art is - they aren't anything alike and it's confusing to the eyes. I really enjoy the mechanics however and they way there's multiple routes to each level. I still enjoyed this game despite what may seem as negative comments but in truth are factual feedback.
I really enjoyed this game - it seems to be the best take on the platformers with light games. I enjoyed the intuitive controls and the numerous mechanic kept the game nice and fresh. It felt so satisfying to dash however I wasn't the biggest fan of pressing it twice but I get that other people like it better that way and that it's a personal preference of mine. I wouldn't change much at all except from maybe a place where you can configure different binds but I totally understand that this is a Jam game and made under a small time. My game doesn't even have a place where you can re-configure controls. This is a really good time and, from seeing the community tab, an awesome first jam entry.
If you could give my game feedback and a rating that would be very much appreciated. I really want to know what I can work on and develop further in the future. https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2213787
Amazing Game - Loved the Mechanics. I found this game to be super interesting because it explores ways to play that have never existed. I've never heard of a game where you HAVE to cheat. It's honestly so clever. I was a big fan of the music and the art. Nothing seemed out of place (art-wise) and this was really fun. I would add a transition with a shape painter through the extension to add a fluidity through different changes in scene. It's really easy to implement. Also on the Death Screen I would add Advance Bloom from the Effects to give it that glowy neon-like feel. Great Job on the game however.
If your free please check out my game Angry Magnet. If you wouldn't mind I'm looking for valuable and critical feedback and a rating. https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2213787
This game is an interesting yet super duper fun take on the On/Off theme. The mechanics are something to love and The name of the store is quite funny. I like the draggable-ness of the objects and the graphics. The cashier you play as feels alive with human-like talk and speech. One thing I would change is having tweens to fade or shrink the receipt after completing an order.
If you wouldn't mind, I'd like you to try out my game Angry Magnet (https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2213787). I'm trying to improve as Game Developer and your feedback and ratings would be helpful.
This is a nice, relaxing clicker game. I like the little people and stars and coins that would fall down from the sky along with their sound effects. It felt quite rewarding. However to make it better maybe their could've been upgrades from the side to increase the amount of points per click. And to stay with theme the upgrades could only work whilst the button was on (when it was green). This was a very relaxing experience so I'm going to say you did really good with this submission.
Would you like to play my game, give some feedback and rate it. https://itch.io/jam/gdevelop-game-jam-4/rate/2213787. I want you to be honest with the game and not 'rate it high because I rated yours' because other people have been doing that and I want to be fair.
Really enjoyed this. The Hand Drawn Style is smooth and nice, The Mechanics of the metal ball and magnet are not buggy and I was able to strategically use them to kill aliens. I also like how the ones in UFO's could only be killed from the top, It added a nice layer of difficulty. Only thing is the movement didn't work for me. Good Job. 👍🏾
Thanks a lot - you don't know how much it means to me since this is only my second Jam that I managed to make a game for. When I make Game feel/Juice It's made as I make that object. I feel leaving it to the end is not that good as a game has many elements that you could forget about and then not look good. Thanks to everyone whose played my game. ❤️
