A fun, short game with replayability that challenges the player to try and beat their personal 'survive and fix the ship' record. Decent quality art and fun gameplay mechanics.

Love the outsourced art assets! Great for the theme. Super difficult to wrap my head around the mechanics, but fun nonetheless! The upgrade system would be great with an onboarding tutorial, but dont sweat it as its just something to learn from, you did well to make a game for the jam!

Cute concept! Love the art style.

Like the concept a lot! ITs fun and out there. I just couldnt play! The mouse feedback was INTENSE so I found it super hard to control. But the cows are cute. hehe.

Would have loved to see some scaling in the difficulty system, however, i clicked play and before i knew it I was lost in the game and had destroyed 95 statues. Maybe im just bad or perhaps its my mouse, but at times it felt like my clicks werent registering unless I selected a specific part of the statue.  Honestly super fun and entertaining little game!

Thanks for the feedback! We toyed with both camera angles and ultimately chose this one, but maybe it's something to rethink. 😁  Best of luck in the jam.

Great outsourcing of assets and sounds. The cartoon effect was awesome, and the music tottally matched. A counter of how many bowling balls you've dodged or how many you've got left would be great. I personally would not have had it end as its fun to see how long you can last, but maybe that would take away from the 'get back up' mechanic! Really fun and a brilliant take on the game jam's theme. Great work for a production team of one!

Fun little prototype! The music feels a bit slow compared to the gameplay, and i think some worms get hidden behind the lighthouse.  Overall good fun.

Nice use of outsourced assets for the environment, characters and fire fx. Music was good and I appreciated that the tracks changed. The art style was really fun to have chosen.

Precise movement was difficult at times such as if you did not reach one of the switches in the exact position needed, however overall it was fun and engaging, especially for a team of two programming.

The onboarding in the beginning was  a great introduction. I like that you kept the phasing through wood consistent too!

Unfortunately, although you did try to clarify in another comment, still unsure how this ties into the theme as I think the storytelling did not necissarily get the point across that youre making your last stand defending the castle.

Overall really great fun, congrats! 😊

Fun art style and sounds, nice background music, the gameplay could have been evolved with the addittion of extra mechanics. Good for only two people working on it too! 😁

I enjoy the concept, but would like to see a game patch on the bug where killing an enemy too quickly stops the game from spawning more. Cute art style! Great music.
